It's not though, if it is, it's a very small amount. The club touting them off has been quite well brought to light.

I think there are just some fans on here who refuse to view the club in any kind of bad light.

The sheer number of tourists and YouTubers is completely on the club.

Its down the club. I feel so distant from the club now. Never had any problems getting tickets from the matchday members scheme.
Never had problems getting pl games nor CL games.
This season has been a nightmare normally do 10 or so home games and a few away if lucky.
Think I have done 4 home and 2 away. Now we have set criteria for CL knockout games which rules us out due to the cost of qualifying for the criteria.

City were happy to take my money in the shit years now City would prefer to see a tourist or a rival fan in the seat I would of had.

I seriously think I wouldn't be attending any more CL games.

Last night was bitterly disappointing and frankly I thought the atmosphere at 0-0 contributed to Madrid going ahead. They were expecting last years atmosphere and it was flat until they scored.

Re. Madrid fans in the home end. I saw four lads in shirts and scarves going in via entrance X barely challenged, they just zipped up their coats. I'm going to speak to the club about it but it would be handy if anyone has actually block, row and seat numbers. Please can you send them to daniel.bowdler@citymatters.co.uk.
It really wasn't "Flat". I have no idea where you people sit with comments like that.

Still none the wiser. What’s Huel?
The health supplement brand he plugs all over his podcast and socials. he gets a kick back with every purchase if you use a referral code. Then when you buy you get your own referral code, and get a kickback when you push it to your fellow LinkedIn techbro pals

Athletic Greens / AG1 is the same shit. Multi level marketing pyramid scheme.

See basically the entire front 5 rows of the left hand section (when looking down from CB Level 3) of padded seats on CB Level 2, I'm not sure if the club have sold them to them or they are some that Uefa give to their mates but it's a joke, it's happened in all the champions league games this season but last night was a piss take when you've just seen your team get robbed by a bunch of cheats.

Absolutely full of tourists and away fans last night. It will kick off big time if it carries on like that - progressively worse in these big champions league games over the past couple of years.

With the ticket criteria as it is, it has to be City fans getting tickets and profiteering? I can't see how else this would happen. The only thing the club could do is have names on tickets and check every one on entry but this isn't feasible and would see 60,000 moan like f"$£ at the length of time it takes to get in to the stadium.

Despite the obvious intruders, decent atmosphere throughout the game.
It’s the club who are touting tickets and giving them to ticket agencies to sell at a large profit. It’s entirely on them for helping to make the atmosphere worse.

Long standing blues can’t get tickets, but influencers that openly mock our club can.

The club have to provide those tickets, every club gets an allocation like that in European games.

Just a thought, if you were sat in your normal seat and a visiting supporter was next to you (in the home end) and he assaulted, threw something or spat at you, could you sue the club?
Me personally, if any of the above happened i would kick f@ck out of them

It's not a joke, it's UEFA rules. 200 CAT A seats. We get them at our aways too. You can see them go up celebrating when we scored last week.

I've sat in said seats before at Bayern and it was explicit that you would be ejected if you celebrated, the stewards didn't even try to stop the pricks goading fans next to them.

Never has the adage about a fool and his money being parted been so apt. Fucking morons, every one of them. In the meantime, this Bartlett character is laughing all the way to the bank.

Funny one, people clearly cashed in. Was loud in parts but genuinely didn’t feel like most people had the belief we could win.

By extra time most were spent or no voice left. Ref was a prick bellinghams a prick.

Wouldn’t say was awful or shocking but maybe nervy is the term. Every club would be the same though.
TBH I thought Bellingham did well for there goal but overall he was bang average one of the most overrated players in football.

That is exactly the problem

They couldn't give a toss about proper fans.
I'm not really against tourists though - if I was on holiday to New York I'd love to go to a Mets game and I'd probably go and buy half the gift shop and sit there taking photos too. It's exactly the same thing and there's nothing wrong with it.

What I object to isn't the odd half and half scarf tourist, it's whole blocks of opposition fans sitting in the home end. Where are those tickets coming from?

At 0-0 it was. Once they scored that seemed to spark people into life but at 0-0, considering the occasion, it wasn't great.
First five minutes had about 3 different songs going at once all around the stadium but it settled and I didn't think it flat at all. I thought it was the best of the season.
