Good old RBS. I owed them £25k on 2 mortgages on 2 properties that where on the market when we moved abroad. During that credit crunch they panicked and demanded their money. I paid them £1.00 per month in postal orders until the properties sold then negotiated to clear the debt at £12,500....winner winner. Wouldn't deal with them again though.RBS is the only one I can think of that I would absolutely never deal with again.
I have heard they train Virgin Media and Talk Talk in customer service too...fucking woeful, had some dizzy cow berating me in the middle of the store because i had the audacity to wander back into the store when a self serve till registered the wrong price "You need to tell someone if you walk away from self service"...."Have you ever tried getting the attention of anybody on these self service tills, its like the Bermuda triangle of staff" she fucked off muttering under her breath back to waiting under some bridge and hunt goats...So yesMorrisons, often put the wrong stuff under the wrong labels, so you think the product you’re buying in cheaper than it is. Really annoys me.
Called AO today and they set up a conference call with Sharp.. After some scathing comments from me I’ve just received an email saying that the missing parts will be delivered to my address within 48 hours.. time will tell if that’s true…Did you buy on credit card, just do a charge back and threaten them with the omnudbusman
Yeah this is the new way. Lackadaisical, careless shit that pays off because we can't afford to pay attention to every last thing. It is baked into everything from customer service phone lines that cut you off, the queues that are so bad you give up.... it's just everywhere.Morrisons, often put the wrong stuff under the wrong labels, so you think the product you’re buying in cheaper than it is. HMRC. I know they’re not a company but they owed me a refund and it took them 4 months to repay it. If it had been the other way round I’d have had to pay a penalty and interest. Tossers.
Was wondering how you got on with this, I work at AO in customer service, well for the time being at least. Was going to DM you about it.Called AO today and they set up a conference call with Sharp.. I’ve only been waiting since October :-D
Their customer service is amongst the worst I’ve ever experiencedCurrys
The guy I spoke to today… didn’t get his name sadly was very good.. said he’d “own the issue” and so far it looks promisingWas wondering how you got on with this, I work at AO in customer service, well for the time being at least. Was going to DM you about it.
Correct, they still owe me £110 for a 'cheque' refund that never arrived. Only scab companies do that and their Customer Service from somewhere in Yorkshire was actually abusive. Only matched by BT's Call Centre in South Africa where they only stop partying long enough to shout at you.Their customer service is amongst the worst I’ve ever experienced
Wifey called them the other day over a VAT payment...25 minutes to get through, line went dead after the woman introduced herself. Waited to see if they would call back, no chance so another 20 odd minute wait.Their service is notoriously poor. Long wait times to speak to someone.
