It’s the opposite the Tories are not ready loads of constituencies have not got a candidate and not many willing to stand it was more of a shock to themMoving quickly on the GE date is probably the only thing Sunak has got right. Other parties now scrambling around to get candidates in place, especially Reform who haven’t got the best track record during nominations. Tories will be hoping that Reform won’t be prepared in taking their ground, and that Labour won’t have their ‘plan’ ready to wipe them off the face of the country.
I’d be interested to know who is thinking of voting for them, and why?
It gives Tice's Reform Ltd an excuse not to stand in seats the Self-servatives have a chance of winning (retaining), and contest Labour strongholds and then say to the tories that they must move further to the fat extreme right.Moving quickly on the GE date is probably the only thing Sunak has got right. He was obviously talking about the big game in London this weekend as a dedicated Southampton fan (if he thinks there are votes to win)
She’s probably the chair of the local Con club too.The face of the girl on his right tells it all - doesn't want to be there and has no interest in him or what he has to say ........... like most of the youth vote

Unless of course, your party colleagues are planning a night of the long knives against youThe one advantage a PM has is the ability to choose an election date to your and your party’s benefit and make sure they are well prepared etc. Springing a surprise election on your own party and have them running around like headless chickens is not the smartest move.
skilled campaigner......

He holds a position that has recently seen a short line of masters of that ability.A party fighting an election while at war with itself, is not an ideal situation either.
To me, there is no compelling rationale for picking an election during people’s holidays and a football tournament. Sunak seems to have an unerring knack for pissing people off.
It’s a good point, and one that only Sunak can answer.Do the Tories have all their candidates ready? There’s loads not restanding.

Furthermore, shooting yourself in the foot soon after, and choosing for God to piss down on you while your entourage can’t be arsed squaring you a brolley, probably says a lot about Sunak. All he had to do was check BBC Weather, must’ve been worried that even them were out for him.

“Aks, the black vans with the Doppler are in the street again.”
“It’s nothing, Rush, go to bed.”
“I am telling you, it’s the meteorologists, they’re out for me!”
You've been there before .... only a matter of time till you succumbed ;-)I’m there, Tories it is.
As proven by him moving to OldhamBloke works at my place who’d never left Rochdale until the firm moved to Oldham!! No passport, can’t drive and walks everywhere unless he can scrounge a lift going his way, been here for 25 years and only thing missing is a banjo…
And I shit you not, still washes his clothes in the bath as won’t buy a washing machine!!
Unsurprisingly he’s single.
But enough about @TinFoilHat, let’s get back to the topic at hand: how badly the Tories are going to lose on American Independence Day.Bloke works at my place who’d never left Rochdale until the firm moved to Oldham!!
