Not a cat in hells chance because of the league we play in.6 out of the next 10 ???
Not a fucking chance, we've only won it fucking once, ever.

Sorry if this has been covered earlier in the thread, but is there any advantage to having a high coefficient and being in pot 1? If we play 2 teams from pot 1 anyway, it looks to me like we've spent years building the best coefficient in Europe only for them to change the rules to make it irrelevant. Or am I missing something?Current pots assuming team with highest coefficient wins each qualifier.

Teams in bold are definitely in the group stage, others have to qualify.
Might change slightly if Dortmund win tomorrow (Frankfurt would go from Europa League into Champions League).
If you're only good enough for pot 2 or lower then you also have to face more clubs better/equal to youSorry if this has been covered earlier in the thread, but is there any advantage to having a high coefficient and being in pot 1? If we were in pot 2 we would face 2 teams from pot 1, same as now. In fact they could be the same 2 teams. I'm not seeing any difference. If you're only good enough for pot 2 or lower then you also have to face more clubs better/equal to you
By definition of being in pot 2 we wouldn’t be as good as we are now, so we’d be up against it playing the two teams from pot 1!If we were in pot 2 we would face 2 teams from pot 1, same as now. In fact they could be the same 2 teams. I'm not seeing any difference.
Back in the seventies with those legendary nights at Anfield, i was watching youtube recently of some of their games back in the day, the ground is literally half empty.I'm old enough to remember the annual dirge when the dippers supposedly dominated. The last half hour of every away leg was spent passing back to Clemence. That was when they only had to play a few no marks before getting to the final.
So the so called 'Champions League' has been an improvement on that. Been some great games and upsets. Just don't think this new league format will make it any better.
But if City win it, I ain't complaining!

Real have been very lucky over the last three seasons , knocking us out twice whilst being totally outplayed , cant wait until next season when we play them again there luck is gonna run out.
They might be Champions of europe now but ourselves and Leverkusen are better football teams , even Mbappe isnt going to make a difference , they are fine going forward but defensively they are shocking , if they played in the Premier league they wouldnt qualify for the conference league.
Disagree , the Premier league has at least a dozen teams who would take points of them , La Liga is a farmers league in comparisonThey’d compete for the title and have a chance of winning it.
A truly terrible take.Real have been very lucky over the last three seasons , knocking us out twice whilst being totally outplayed , cant wait until next season when we play them again there luck is gonna run out.

A truly pointless responseA truly terrible take.
Not necessarily, Mbappe has to settle first and 2 of the 3 seem to have pretty big eggs.Vini Jr, Mbappe and Rodrigo will be some force next year. Hard to to look beyond them again next year.

They thinks it all ova.Not necessarily, Mbappe has to settle first and 2 of the 3 seem to have pretty big eggs.
Farmers in Spain are very good footballers.Sevilla,Atletico Madrid,Valencia, and Villareal have won more European trophies this century than all of the premier league without Barca and Madrid.Disagree , the Premier league has at least a dozen teams who would take points of them , La Liga is a farmers league in comparison
