We all know he is getting old and isn't as fast as he once was, so the solution of course is to run him into the ground. Brilliant.

If only the rest of the squad and management weren't half asleep we could get games won and get the likes of Walker off for a breather.

From what I’ve seen Walker has probably been sleeping the most

Not going to be a good watch. Better sides are going to exploit both full-back weaknesses

His wife/partner/ex-wife or whatever she is to him and his gold digger baby machine ate going to love trying to wage their WAG war in the KSA.

You can have four wives out there, if Kyle his family and extended family embrace the country and its cultures everyone could be happy.

A few years ago I watched a programme about Mormon Fundamentalists. They still "secretly" practice polygamy.

A man who is a fundamentalist was being interviewed and said if you think having multiple wives, from a sexual aspect, sounds fun I will tell you it isn't. It isn't worth it. If you want to be with multiple women this isn't the way to do it.

Reading that Southgate is going with trippier and saka as wing backs and playing three at the back, surely walker is better for that role than trippier?
But Walker is the better right CB in a back three. Surprised he's not going Alexander-Arnold, but then he couldn't possibly have two attack-minded wing-backs on the pitch at the same time. We might end up with more than four players in the opposition half, and we can't have that.

Not really as Walker’s main asset is his pace to cover. On the ball he’s bad enough on his right never mind being stuck out on the left. If he wants to prolong his career right side of a back 3 is probably his best option. I just hope it’s not with us.

That would have meant a positive starting line up

His form isn't good and if he faces Mbappe this time it might not end well. The Netherlands aren't great but still have a few tricky players.

Gakpo has been playing a bit off the left, and according the Dutch that's by far his best position, which is probably the reason he looks very much in form in this tournament.

Walker isn't playing well and will have his hands full with the version of Gakpo that shows up for his country and playing well.
