However he was near knocked out and unsteady on his feet.

His mitigation will be he was concussed, not thinking straight, concerned for his and other officers safety, etc.

Plus he didn't know if the guy managed to grab his gun. He made sure the guy had zero time to recover and got the job done.

How can you say that with certainty? Like I'm not claiming to know for sure either way but if I had to guess i'd have thought it's possible he knew. Tasers make a noise and the guy has his arms around the officer in question when he's shot. Wouldn't he have felt the guy stiffen up? They fall to the ground together. And by the time he walks around to him, the guy looks very much like someone who has just been tasered.

getting up and booting him was a bit mongalong to be truthful..he had to defend the machine pistol with his life whilst he was on the floor...a back spinning elbow to the kite or throat and the copper would be getting a 9carat sekonda and a leg over.

Its split seconds.
A matter of seconds before, the fat thug had been pummelling him. A matter of a second or so after that skinny thug is repeatedly punching him. Half a second later skinny has dragged him to the ground. In the time hes rolled away hes been tasered. The copper has booted him to neutralise him.
Yes its its possible he knew. But if say in the heat of that moment, seconds, he probably didnt know and reacted.

Transport/armed police have more laws than ordinary police, and for good reason, some are still blaming them for the Manchester bombing. Airports are very tense these days, so anyone causing trouble would be incapacitated in any way, quite frankly he is luck to be alive, there were armed police there. As for those in Rochdale, you should be ashamed of yourselves, the rest of Manchester is.

Yeah I agree with this. The ways it's worded is kind of vague and i think they would have been clear about it if it was the result of the officer's actions. Just smacks of the lawyer being needlessly inflammatory and hysterical in his language. They need to bin that guy off, he seems a real chancer and hell bent on stoking tensions even further.

All I'm saying is it seems a bit weird to be saying with certainty over and over again that there's no way the officer knows the guy has been tasered. He knows how they work. I'd have thought you'd have a good idea if the person holding onto you is being tasered.

Possibly, yes. I doubt it but he may say that.

If charged, as expected, would be up to the magistrate or jury to decide.

Like you I’ve no idea whether he did or didn’t ,what i do know was he’d been punched in the head half a dozen times seconds before was outnumbered 2to1 and had a firearm on him. He made sure the odds were even before tackling the other scummy ****. Suppose he’d lost his sidearm in my opinion he did the right thing no other member of the public was injured or worse yet some are vilifying him personally i reckon he should receive a bravery award.
