Makes sense that. Could live with it. I think loaning McAtee will be fine, especially where we could have Echeveri here in January.

Could be done anyway mate if Echeverri comes in and looks good? Oscar will be back early next year as well so Mcatee maybe be surplus again.

Yeah… we know the Scottish league is poor but what an experience for McAtee playing in front of 60k every week. Both Rangers and Celtic are incredible clubs no matter what anyone says.Could see us doing that to be honest if it gets the deal done.

I think you're right and may be good for him. I don't think he'll make it with us tbh. Main reason is he needs a run of games and he won't get that at City. I'd offer Celtic a straight swap with buy back and sell on clauses in the deal.If McAtee goes on loan up there, he’s done here.

He looked very tidy in the Community Shield, almost reminiscent of Gundogan tbh. I hope we keep him.
