Have we got any positives to take from this government yet other than it's nice to see a toolmakers son do good?
Well since they’ve been in Gundogan and Oasis are back!Have we got any positives to take from this government yet other than it's nice to see a toolmakers son do good?
Surely you mean allowances should go up? The intention when the £325k limit was introduced was that parents should be able to pass on their home to their children. So if house prices have risen, then the tax free limit should rise with it, as indeed it has done.If anything I always thought “death” tax should go up as you say house prices have significantly risen
I think the proportion of stabbings in that overall knife crime figure would be useful to know.On average there are 41 knife crimes and stabbings in London PER DAY. It would seem that whilst bad for those involved, the carnival doesn't significantly, if at all, increase the normal numbers.

His father's occupation is extremely apposite.Have we got any positives to take from this government yet other than it's nice to see a toolmakers son do good?
It's a view I have of ALL governments. I am not making a party-political stance.Bit too soon to suggest Labour couldn’t run a piss up in a brewery and they will waste extra income
Absolutely, Tory scum outHave we got any positives to take from this government yet other than it's nice to see a toolmakers son do good?

He has reaffirmed that income tax, NI and VAT will not be increased for working peopleI'm just waiting to see what he means when he says "The broadest shoulders" will take the biggest burden.
18% of the UK population are over 65 - 11 million pensioners - that's probably broad enough for his purposes.I'm just waiting to see what he means when he says "The broadest shoulders" will take the biggest burden.

Would be interesting to hear what you think they could have done in such a short timeframe and whether you feel the Tories left them in a decent positionLooks like Tories out and Tories back in again, slogans and more slogans with no change whatsoever.
note "working" - doesn't include 'have worked all their adult lives and are now retired".He has reaffirmed that income tax, NI and VAT will not be increased for working people
Not sure what your point isAs I said, no change then?
Come on. Do you really think the OAP population can contribute the deficit?note "working" - doesn't include 'have worked all their adult lives and are now retired".
