Tad more optimistic for Sunday after watching Arsenal tonight who were bang-on average. They are very good defensively but never looked like scoring and Atalanta were undoubtably the better side sitting 9th in the Italian league .... first goal will be paramount

As long as we don’t play stones and Walker at same time we will be fine.
Not sure if serious…

They’ve been the right-sided backbone of City & England for years. Last game, they made their first starts and were both at fault for Brentford’s first goal in the first minute. Got it. So, we burn them?! What’s that?!

Think I‘d probably go with this:

———-—-Ederson———-
Akanji-Stones-Dias-Gvardiol
—————-Rodri————
Bernardo-Foden-Gundogan-Doku
—————Haaland———-

Grealish for Doku and I’d be more than happy with that line up

With the newly appointed best goalkeeper in the world between the sticks, we're clearly not going to be allowed to score.
May as well try and hold out for a 0.0.

Beep Beep Beep......

The chicken shitters will park the bus, play rugby, fall down, take tactical time outs, and waste as much time as possible.

A cross twixt George 'the bung' Graham & Anthony 'club shop' Pullis.

We need to get on at the ref from minute one !!
It will all depend on how he refs this match, if he cuts out the timewasting, the persistent fouling and the judo from gabriel and saliba it has a chance of being a good game but i very much doubt that.

And also can someone, anyone just clean out captain black when he is constantly out of his technical area.

Aside from the draw with Brighton, which isn't the worst result, Arsenal have had a good start to the season with wins away at Villa and Spurs. If they get a point or better from us on Sunday it will have been exactly what they'd wanted.

They're still early into their rise in terms of playing the CL and PL and competing in both. They fell away in their first attempt in the PL, without CL football and then struggled to balance both last season. They've got some tough CL games and they weren't very good last night, but defensively remain excellent.

It will be similar to the Inter game in many ways, and I would anticipate Pep is hungry to see us win the game with so much of the season left.

With Odegaard out they're certainly weaker in attack. They don't seem to be fully firing yet, so we just need to get after them and make them suffer.

City 3-1 Arsenal.

Both sides in the CL obviously had one eye set on this weekends game.
Hope i'm wrong and we win but i reckon it'll be a draw, 1-1
