My post wasn't entirely serious mate ;-)The consequences for Putin of annexing sovereign states include the destruction of his own economy.
I don't know if she will, and I'm conscious that things like this are often a lot more complex than people make out.
So I doubt we'll see a cutting of all funding, that would probably result in the end of Israel. But she has been critical of their actions, and more vocal in support of Palestinian rights than I've seen before.
Bigga, no US politician is probably making that call. So while I understand where the far left is coming from, I think they are cutting of their nose to spite their face.
To me they are no different than Never Trump Republicans. There is an ideological battle here, and all lefties are probably best served supporting Harris. Just like all conservatives are best served supporting Trump.
You don't have to like either, but the present and long-term consequences are dire if you cut your nose to spite your face
Which a lot on both sides seem to be doing. But I guess that's the beauty of Freedom for you
Does it?
Like I said words are words and they have to be backed up by actions.Oh yes! Auntie Kammy's scolding Little Bibi, loud enough for the neighbours to hear whilst stuffing a couple of rocks in his back pocket and giving him a wink or a wank. Take your pick.
Beautiful.
Name me a president or politician that was funded by AIPAC that ended up defying them and got to have a great career after.
I'll wait.
Like I said words are words and they have to be backed up by actions.
Would you rather not answer the question about whether or not Harris currently has then authority to do anything more than she is currently doing?
OK, I know it's a bit hard for you to answer the question. I understand. Is she not "taking calls with world leaders"? Did she not meet with Netanyahu? And when she did, did not tell him the score?
Is she not front and centre 'assuming the position'? Or are you saying she has no power at all? That's right, she's being ignored. If she doesn't growl now, who will believe it if she bares her teeth?
Is AIPAC funding the Republicans/Trump?
Sorry, but if you expressed a hundredth of the outrage towards Trump as you do towards Harris I'd believe you were even a tiny bit genuine. What part of the 'billionaire donor class funds both' do you not understand?
Some of us, with our eyes wide open, understand this already.
OK, I know it's a bit hard for you to answer the question. I understand.
Sorry, but if you expressed a hundredth of the outrage towards Trump as you do towards Harris I'd believe you were even a tiny bit genuine.
And if AIPAC precludes a president from doing what you want them to do you should be just as passionate about attacking Trump as you are about Harris.
But youre not.
If you'd actually read my post I said that I doubt she would withdraw funding.Oh, so you believe that she'll suddenly tell Netty that she'll stop the war funds if she gets to the big seat?? Or for him to get his shit together?
Defying the Israel and war machine lobbies after they've courted and funded her??
Oh... That's brilliant.
If you'd actually read my post I said that I doubt she would withdraw funding.
I also said that words are words, and they have to be backed up by actions.
I hope she gets the opportunity to resolve the issue.
Defending myself against a sheep and bending over for a wolf doesn't seem a great deal for me.As I've said I know the Wolf when I see it. I don't need to scream and point that there's a Wolf! So I'll say it for the last time, I also see the Wolf in Sheep's clothing whereas you only see the Sheep.
No. Because a vote for Stein is one step closer to Trump getting into power. And do you know why it's ultimately disappointing and angering for the many Muslims to filter towards a third option in Stein? Have you figured it out yet?
