Spent many hours on the sports field at Ashton GS, even in winter we used to play "Wembley" under the street lamp right at the bottom of the field on Montague Road.

Last time I drove by a year or so again there were hardly any playing fields left on either side of the road.

We don’t have a 55,000 seater stadium. If they’re going to inflate our capacity and then compare it to the average attendances it will obviously lead to a lot of empty seats. Total bollocks but no doubt garnered the clicks they were looking for.

Exactly, current capacity is reduced to 53400 . Therefore they must be equating the average crowd based on their maths 55000 - 2228 = 52772 or 628 empties or a whopping 1.25 % .
