Kamala Harris

But you think that's everyone except you and Dax based on my read.
You are out of the loop, Fog.

MSC is the last rational, unbiased person left on the forum (and perhaps in the world).

The rest of us (literally anyone aside from himself, and perhaps Dax and Aphex) are “hysterical”, “gullible”, “toddlers”.

I know. We suck.

That said, I am pretty sure two out of the three of them are virgins.

@Dax777 I think you are spot on with this "2 things can be true simultaneously true. Rioters did commit a crime and acted despicably and the left leaning media is overplaying a protest in which some people rioted"
I'm quite relaxed about Jan 6 which I thought was more idiotic than dangerous (to democracy) but I'm not American. I suppose if I were to see the same thing happening in the seat of our democracy (eg one of those Tommy Robinson rally's breaking in to the houses of parliament and going on the rampage) then I'd be a bit more upset.
Your relaxation shows you to be an idiot.

I cannot speak to their sexual experiences (or lack thereof).

But I can say they seem to be quite inexperienced in most realms of life (and in politics, political and governance theory, and the use of logic and reasoning, especially).

WTF is the matter with you?

1/6 was Trump's last ditch effort to overturn the results of a free and fair election. The Orange Guy intentionally sparked a riot on the Capitol, with the intention of stopping the certification of the 2020 election and the transfer of power.

Overplaying?

Some people rioting?

Fucking hell. Did you not watch videos of what was going on?

Several people died. And Trump, watching the entire thing unfold, did nothing. Until it was apparent that his attempted overthrow of the government would fail.

The question all rational, educated, compassionate participants in this and other US political threads keep asking themselves about the likes of MSC, Dax, Aphex, and a few others.

And perhaps that is the answer to the question.
They call this an "echo chamber" because nearly all disagree with them instead of thinking, "Hey, you know what? Maybe I've got it wrong." At least Mazz seems objective -- or seems that way because he doesn't really care; this is all a game.

I agree on all points apart from your assessment that MSC seems “objective”.

He is only “objective” in the “I’m just asking questions” sense, which is really “I am going to say things and/or asks questions about subjects that I not only know nothing about, but have no interest educating myself about, and then nonsensically belittle anyone rebuking my statements and/or ignore or rejects earnest answers to my questions”.

He has no real interest in substantive, good faith debate. He is just here to stir the pot and call people “hysterical” and “toddlers” when they call him out on that juvenile behaviour.

Mazz periodically posts thoughtful and interesting stuff but it all seems a trap to bait others into fighting. Works too. He'd just as soon pick a side as saw off his nose with a McCulloch.

It’s honestly been some time since I have seen him post anything genuinely thoughtful or interesting (at least, in my estimation), but I will keep a look out.

I agree that most everything he does post in these threads seems pretty obviously crafted as bait for winding up someone (or several people).

And he definitely fits the description of someone going to the hottest place in hell (if it exists), “reserved for those who remain neutral in times of great moral conflict”.

You said it was a protest with no guns or weapons, why is it now a disgraceful riot?
It was a protest NOT an insurrection....And some people rioted

In protests, almost always, some people riot. This is why I am generally not a fan of protests and find the rioting that almost always resort from it despicable. But then again, I've held this view for decades now, happy to see so many leftist joining the fray.

It's why I decried the 'mostly peaceful with fire burning in the background BLM protests' and riots. And, I equally find the actions of the protesters here, to use an elitist's term, "deplorable."

It’s a game to MSC, nothing more than that.

My take for what it’s worth on the election. Harris will win. Dems take the House. Senate - no idea.

In the midterms it was meant to be a red wave and it was barely ankle deep. Trump had significant opposition in the primaries - even when Haley pulled out. Abortion will also be a factor. Maybe the vagaries of the electoral collage will thread a path for Trump but I don’t see it.

That said, I’ve not been following it closely and I’m not American, so maybe my take is off or out of date. Guess we’ll find out next week.

Dwarves and farm animals here.

There always tend to be idiots on the fringe of any protest. I thought that maga shamen fellow with the silly horn hat and the red white and blue paint was comedy gold.
Ultimately the J6 thing crossed a line because of death and serious injury, whereas with BLM it was just statues getting hurt I think?

There are others but they've drifted away from the thread. You said yourself you are on here as an activist - I admire the courage and strength of your conviction tbh, but it doesn't mean you are right. You just think you are.

Explain why it was not an insurrection without saying it was just a riot/protest. That is, what is an insurrection?

So, let me see if I understand your position:

If you are white, and don’t defend the rights and dignity of non-white people, you are racist.

If you are white, and do defend the rights and dignity of non-white people, you are racist.

Is that a correct understanding?
