Dangerous Dogs

When the fuck are people going to stop having dogs with young children , i have seen pics of bully dogs licking a babies head whilst the adult gets their shot for twatter . Wise up ffs
They won't, they're in denial. People have humanised their pet dogs and treats them as if they're actual children. "He wouldn't hurt a fly" "no such thing as bad dogs, just bad owners"

People that have that mindset are the bad owners. These are not your children, dogs are animals and have instincts that can switch at any given time.

I have dogs by the way. And these people wind me the f*ck up

Walking through the local park yesterday and this fucking massive dog, off its lead (despite a sign every 20 yards requiring your dog to be on a lead) sprints towards me then starts jumping up, obviously pretty friendly but covering me in mud and slobber. Cue two gormless middle-aged halfwits ambling round the corner. ‘Don’t worry, Monty won’t hurt you’ she bubblegums as their mutt continues to jump up. ‘Can he do my fucking laundry?’ I answered, which got us into the predictable argument because a number of dog owners are utterly blind to the shitty behaviour of their animal and the impact it might have on other people. Newsflash - I don’t love your sodding dog!

If you have a dog that can switch at any time e.g. without an obvious stimulus it's a dog that should be put down.

It wasn't socialised properly and didn't learn how to behave around kids and other dogs, or has a neurological condition.

Even dogs with breed characteristics of aggression don't typically switch at any time. They respond to stimuli with a predictable response.

What people overlook is that dog breed behaviour is something that was selectively bred, either intentionally or by accident. The more territorial dogs that are aloof around strangers and bred to be guard dogs are poor choices for family pets.

Totally agree with you. I hate these owners who have zero control / recall ability.

The ones that do are fine and the dogs react to this every single time. Let them run free in that case.

The ones who don’t are just complete fuckwits. I tell them to put them on a lead when they do that and often get the response of “she/he won’t hurt you and wouldn’t hurt anyone” I just reply with - “imagine you were 6 years old and you saw my dog (Retriever) running up to you at full pelt and jumping up” it could put kids off dogs for life. I never take that chance because mine probably has 90% recall but that’s not enough for me to take the risk.

There is a guy near me that 'walks' his (i say walks, it's off the lead) it comes right up and starts sniffing, you just stand there because it's so powerful. It's not an xl but it's big enough. I wouldn't like to see it go for a smaller dog. Irresponsible twat.

Confirmed it was another XL Bully - these are not family pets - the clue is in the name.

Nobody needs to own a nine stone plus dog. If it turns a kid is dead and even if you're an adult you're fighting for your life. As for these XL Bully breeds, anybody who thinks owning one of these, especially somebody with kids is a good idea, you are a fucking cretin. If a death is the result of owning one then it should be a minimum manslaughter charge.

Got off the bus and lost her ear...

She doesn't blame the dog. Sorry I'd want the fucker shot asap. She was just walking home not antagonising it nor presenting any threat to it whatsoever. It just singled her out and attacked her from behind. It's owner should be jailed too.

Dogs are potentially dangerous although some are more so than others.

In my view, dogs should be on a lead in public places. They should not be allowed to approach other dogs or people unless under control. A random dog running at you when you have your own dog on a lead is fucking dangerous. 'My dog is friendly' is no answer - mine may not be, or may feel defensive.

Many owners are not fit to have white mice. And anyone who uses a dog as a weapon or threat is a complete ****.

As ever, I blame the owners, not the dogs.
