Holidays

Malaga lads trip for a 60th birthday, for 4 nights on Thursday.

8 of us. 3 Blues, 3 Rags, 1 Burnley, and 1 MK Dons!

2 England games while we're there, so could get lively!

Great city Malaga too!

Don’t forget your wellies and a couple of canoes, fucking awful rain today like torrential, hopefully cleared up a bit tomorrow but wow it’s bad

It's fucking brilliant. Can't wait to go back. The flight is a right fucking killer though. The jetlag when I got back was awful, for about a week!
thanks fella - we've had a big round of redundos today, so I'll just be thankful to have a job that I'm too tired to do tbh

Due to land at 14:25 tomorrow!

We'll have to see how it goes. One of the lads is in Nerja, and he says the same.

Just our luck!!

chicken dinner...

Just bagged a press trip to Japan - 13 days, depart November 21 - never been, fkn made up if I'm honest - had to pay for Mrs KBN's flight but apart from that, all else is on the house
Went there years ago, Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, loved it. First time I had Sapporo beer, from a vending machine on the street!

Arthurs is closed now too!

Got to find another City pub, if one exists!
It’s a shame that Arthur’s has closed. It was great to watch the City games there every time I went to PDC.
Haven’t found a City bar to replace it. There’s lots of Irish bars on the front that I would steer well clear of if we were playing the Rags or the Dippers.
Best I’ve found so far in PDC is either Spoons or Kings, with decent food at reasonable prices too.

Seen Arthurs is an apartment now !!!
Prob use the Inn Place for Dippers game and Linekers for the Forest Game

I’ve not come across that one. Where is it?
In the old town. Drop down the hill past the drunken monkey turn left into a small square, 4/5 bars in there. Melting Pot next door the blokes who owns that is a Scottish blue
Jo the landlady of the inn place swears like a trooper hates spurs and scousers and everything red,
Ticks all my boxes

Definitely on my. Ust do lists, y daughter wants to go, will be the trip of a lifetime for the two of us, the wife can stay at home with the dogs. Need around £6k for 10 days I reckon.
The missus and I just had a self organised 3 week trip there in September, 7 days in Tokyo, 3 in Okinawa, 3 in Beppu and the rest in Hiroshima, Kanazawa and Kaga including stays at onsen hotels, city hotels, ryokan and private apartments with direct JAL flights for less than £6k. No doubt Japan can be eye wateringly expensive but doesn’t need to be if you can do as the locals. We used booking dot com first 5 nights in Tokyo apartment for £300, the hotel Amenek in Beppu had a residents drinks package 1000 yen (£5) for a serve yourself free for all between 2 - 10pm!!

staying here for four nights but dinner not included, any nearby decent/reasonable cafe restaurants? Thanks in
advance

Obviously risky this I know but I thought I would throw myself at the mercy of the bluemoon forum for suggestions for possible summer holiday destinations. We are struggling a bit as we seemingly need 2 quite conflicting things. We have 2 kids who are both in their late teens and have said they would stìll come with us if we go somewhere a bit lively where they can go out and party. That's fine but by the same token, me and the missus don't want to be in the middle of somewhere like Kavos or Las Americas! We want somewhere with a few nice restaurants/a decent hotel etc.
Somebody has suggested Palma Nova as thats the next bay up from Magaluf so close enough for them to go out there but seperate enough to be an option for us. Wondered if anyone had been there before and could confirm/deny that as a possibility, or alternatively, offer any other suggestions. Another restriction is that the wife doesn't like flying, so that rules out anything too long haul.

Save yourself several thousands, leave the kids at home and go wherever you like.

Albufeira, you and Mrs in old town, leave kids to party time on the strip, win win for all that should be.
