The vilification in the media of City since we became a threat has been just a constant drip drip drip of negativity. Since the charges were laid against us the vitriol has been turbo-charged off the scale and is unprecedented. Yes, we’ve grown our fan base in this Country, but it would have much, much bigger still if it were not for the constant trashing of our reputation and encouraging other fans to call us out as cheats etc. it’s been been a nasty campaign with a clear objective to demean the best football club in the world.
I dont want them brown nosing us, just fair, we know what we are!

Ours is civil. As he may have been caught taking drugs on camera, his is possibly criminal.

Yes the BBC football department is for the red shirts. But not everything they do has an ulterior motive.

You have to differentiate the two otherwise this place looks like RAWK.

It's not a criminal offence under English law to take drugs when out of the country, is it?

Didn't Wenger also invent pasta and some kind of code-breaking machine - so as to make sense of the neanderthal grunts made by Martin Keown? Another travesty that he - Wenger - hasn't been honoured in his life time, but, like his fore-runner Alan Turing - for whom it took decades for his sheer genius truly to be recognised - Arsene's time will come one day.

Maybe his honour is thought unnecessary because his football team was already named after him, and that's recognition enough.
Funny how that happens sometimes :
Arsene at Arsenal
Mancini at Man City

Makes it all the more surprising that the rags never went for Antonio Cunte.

Martin Samuel with some inside info here. Does that mean he's now one of the club's go to journalists along the likes of Jack Gaughan and Martin Blackburn?

I don't expect much from Jamie fucking Jackson but I do from Samuel.

There is simply no way we can get relegated and here's why. Even if we were found to have breached every single one of the charges, and were faced with a points deduction (and I don't think for one moment that will happen), the tribunal can only deduct points it thinks we gained a sporting advantage from, by spending more than we were entitled to spend under the PSR rules.

The charges go back to the early years of the takeover but where were we before Sheikh Mansour bought us? Well we finished 9th in 2007/8 under Sven and were in the Rich List top 20. Thaksin had committed us to spending we couldn't afford and we didn't have a pot to piss in. Yet we were still mid-table in the PL and that, in my view, is the pest position we can be put back to. And that's if every charge is proven, which is inconceivable. So why would there be a relegation clause?
