I shouldn't have responded to the previous post as it's derailing the thread into another Grealish discussion.
I was trying to point out that Nunes could simply be injured and not making a statement

Only problem with Nunes is I can’t work out if he’s gotten a lot better or is just the same and the rest of the squad are playing so badly he just looks better.

Will wait to see him playing well in a winning team before passing judgment.

I read somewhere that Nunes has been the 2nd fastest player in the PL this season: 36,72 km/h.

If that's correct, he may be slightly faster than Sane...

We need more such players, not fewer.

Pace is certainly a desirable attribute as long as they can also play football. Hes certainly done ok of late, needs to lose the yellow streak and cut out the play acting.

I said it in the post-match thread, but WHO CARES if he occasionally turns it over in the midfield currently?!

We're conceding goals for fun as it is. We NEED athleticism in there.

He LED the LEAGUE for tackles with Wolves. I refuse to believe he's some fanny in that regard.

I knew he was going to benched the moment some of our wingers were back in the team, Pep just sees him as a backup winger that's all, we're going to see much more of Gundogan Lewis and Silva in midfield I'm afraid lads.

The lad literally looks like the only half bright spot in the past month and gets dropped. Ridiculous from Pep.

When he gave the pen away.. I had a feeling Pep would drop him to make a point he doesn't get to do that and play every game.

What's more interesting is whether he starts the next game or not. He should.. Pep made his point!
