122k in the entire NHS workforce being of APAC origin might make sense. Thats 8% give or take.

Not once you factor in inflation. Anyway I won’t criticise Brown for selling the gold, his logic at the time was sound, the execution perhaps a little less so. People the world over were trying to get rid of gold assets, not just governments. Hindsight is a wonderful thing - we’d all be billionaires if we could apply hindsight eh?

If you don’t like Starmer you’re gonna believe he is and if you like Starmer you’re going to believe Haigh is. @blueinsa was right IMHO that her cards were numbered when she fucked off the P&O owners and she’s being briefed against - that doesn’t necessarily mean her version of events is true though. I doubt we will ever know.

    • 50% expect to lessen wage increases
    • 44% expect to increase prices
    • 43% to reduce employment
    • 25% expect to absorb the costs in lower margins
    • 25% will seek to increase productivity
    • 57% were planning to do at least two of the above

To be fair I get phone calls for these surveys about my business all the time and I ‘m too busy and can’t be arsed being on the phone answering their questions for 15 minutes.
