We did it because of this on going court case which is definitely having more of an impact that we wanted or thought . The title is nothing compared to what’s gonna happen when the verduct is known.Not sure why you included Akanji or Kovacic in that. But ignoring that why do you think we avoided paying big money for who we really wanted last summer. I don’t know myself ,though I have a few ideas.

Think this is a good summary. It’s lots of little things amounting to the current situation. Bad judgement allied to misfortune as well as some intangibles. Clearly January will be enlightening to how the case has gone - if we go hard and assert ourselves in the market then clearly it’s gone well. I think we knew this season would be tricky and tried to squeeze one more year out of the squad and without Rodri’s season long injury maybe the gamble would have paid off.

Would 100% be in the summer and would imagine Walker is going.I am not sure Frimpong is going to move in January but no harm in bringing him in the summer and get things tied up in January.

I was talking about this the other day and I don't think we can replace KDB.I am bit skeptical of the source however If Gyokeres is content on being rotated rather than being the main man then bring him in.
