So, we need how many players asap? two center backs, two full backs and a couple of midfielders, maybe more? and a backup striker? it will take some time to refresh the squad

Grealish and Walker will be difficult to move on due to their current wages. Grealish may take a pay cut to go back to Villa. I’m guessing Walker would be off to Saudi.

Even together, Ake (300 minutes) and Stones (284 minutes) are unlikely to make up the playing time needed for one man let alone two. We’ve played 1,260 minutes of League football and combined they’ve managed 584 minutes, meaning the extra work is having to be shared by Dias, Akanji, Gvardiol, and Walker, which is unsustainable over a season.

CB who can play a full back position well. The amount of games Stones has missed since joining us is astounding and sad in equal measure. Pretty certain Aké had hardly any injuries before joining us as well

I could see a couple of loans , we have plenty of cash in the bank, January signings are difficult and expensive but possible if you really want the players.In Jan? optimistic as hell that, like it.
We made a huge mistake in the summer not refreshing , no time for errors this time.
