Signing another defender is out of the question in January. If you are very optmistic of a January signing other than Echeverri's inclusion and possibly Bah another midfielder is probably the realistic option (but can't expect the two players mentioned to temporarily make a difference).I can't think of a midfielder who would want to move mid-season.

Grealish is way more effective through the Middle because midfielders often ain't as quick as full backs and he can go at his own pace as he's also strong and knows how to position his body, he will win loads of free kicks and players are more hestitant to foul which gives jack more time to analyse. He also rarely loses the ball. Jack starts over foden right now so absolutely stays.

They may only get one chance to join City.
Ederson might be one to keep an eye onWe only have room for 2 unless players leave which is highly unlikely.
Sporting fans believe Viana is already working for us, saw some comments on the weekend that Bah was a sporting transfer target on loan. Also the link to the Sporting striker as well which Tolmie says is true.

He will be a revelation in midfield, and can easily play there for 5 more years.
The priority to sell in the summer is:
Walker
Gundogan
Ake or Stones (or both)
Kova or Bernie (or both)
There is an argument to keep Bernie RW for Savio backup... but dont forget we have Bobb coming back.
This is why I want 2 midfielders and 3 defenders down the line.
If we sell Kevin... then Wirtz would be the 6th player I want to add.
