Bollocks.
I'd rather play with 10 men then Walker.
Simpson-Pusey has had less fuck ups than Walker. And I bet his minutes-per-fuck-up are better too!

What part of Stalybridge do you live in?If I visited some of our self-appointed physicians with a headache, I‘d come out with a kidney missing and three nipples.
Where have I suggested he do that? You're putting words in my mouth. You seem to think he had an alternative course of action than relying on a system and way of playing that has served up 18 trophies in 8 seasons
He’s going to sit in front of the players and say listen guys forget everything I’ve taught you over the last few years, it’s a crock of shit , we’re now going to play with a low block and start launching it down the channels for Haaland to chase
That’s not how it works, once the message changes and you don’t have the courage of your convictions then the players will begin to doubt- Ten Haag at united is a classic example
We just need to get through this period of injuries without too much damage and kick on when we have more of the squad available and more crucially match fit
Unless you have a better idea ?
We need legs in the middle imo. Grealish/Nunes/Foden would potentially give us that. Worth a try no, especially when you consider how poor we've been for the last 6 weeks or so…Levels of it though mate aren’t there. KDB, Gundo and Bernie could all press well a few years ago. Pep wouldn’t have Yaya because he was unfit and couldn’t run anymore but he’d have still probably blitzed our current lot. Not much he can do about it though with Rodders done and even Kovacic out for weeks?
Aside from something really radical like Grealish and Foden as 8’s but that’s highly unlike and i’m not trying to say it would work either. Just couldn’t be any worse than what we’re currently seeing.

I'm saying he could show a bit more pragmatism to help us defensively rather than persisting with a system that is clearly no longer working with the players he has available - a system that is continually leaving the players exposed and that Is making them look bang average. I'm not saying he should rip up the playbook and start again.
He has tweaked and evolved the way we play numerous times over the years but after the last 6 weeks and a run of form that a relegation-threatened side would expect to see I'm questioning if he has any answers to this.
Of course he has led us to the greatest period of success we are likely to ever see but you can't have it both ways and say he's responsible for the 18 trophies and then go on to say he's not responsible at all for this downturn.
Not sure what you're classing as too much damage but were clearly no longer in the title race and also in a real battle to even qualify for the CL knockouts. We've been humiliated by an average spurs side at home and have been lucky to beat the two teams rock bottom of the league.

Knew he was going nowhere. You can clearly see he is happy at the club and ready to build another team. Hopefully he stays 3/4 more seasons at least.![]()

Pep Guardiola says #ManCity will be his final club in his managerial career. Pep: “I’m not going to manage another team... I wouldn’t have the energy... The thought of starting somewhere else, all the process of training and so on... No, no, no! Maybe a national team..." Via YT: Dani García.bsky.app

I love this man!
Other than my dad, I will never love a man as much as him!

Brazil next then...And, speaking ahead of their Champions League tie against Juventus on Wednesday, Guardiola provided a major update on his future and revealed he will not manage any other teams in the future.
'I’m not going to manage another team,' he said. 'I’m not talking about the long-term future but what I’m not going to do is leave Man City, go to another country, and do the same thing as now.
'I wouldn’t have the energy... The thought of starting somewhere else, all the process of training and so on... No, no, no! Maybe a national team, but that’s different.'
Disagree. Nunes been ok (granted mainly wider) during this awful run (where many have been awful (Gundo/Foden/Silva). Considering how bad we have been, he deserves a run out in his natural position imo…Nunes not good enough. Foden largely anonymous all this season. Might as well recall Kalvin Phillips... he's about as effective as those two this season.

Scousers buzzing off a united win!?
Fair play to Pep being so pissed off after we'd done the 4 peat
Seeing the team i hope Grealish is Central and we dont go Gundo/Silva/kdb centrally, not enough legs in the middle for me…All about opinions mate. Personally, I think Nunes is no better than a good Championship player.
That said, I do agree that he probably deserves a decent run in his natural position, particularly as the available alternatives in the squad aren't any better.
I agree . We are in a real sport if trouble and because our recruitment has been poor for the last couple of windows we are. Now in the sane position as fergie was after he last won the title with an aging found out team . Pep is looking tired and I might get flak from the happy clappers but he may well call it a day end if this season . Hope im wrong but if this carries on I think he will go . .Good post.
Pep is sticking to his system, along with a few oolder players who just aren't up to it any longer, and a few new players who just can't do it.
Poor succession planning. That's all this is about.
We're winning nothing this season, and if we don't sort the squad out quickly, we'll win nothing next season either.
Big hard questions need to be asked can’t hide behind injuries every club gets them 1 win in 10 is disgraceful for a club this sizeHe's HAS to be under pressure surely
Literally does the same thing every week and then goes ballistic nothing changes.....
Surely he knows its to slow, surely he sees our midfield has no legs, surely we need to mix up the personnel with youth or the shape
Something HAS to change and he seem incapable of doing so
Thought he was better than Sir Alex, but he's showing he has no idea what to do under some adversity
Not saying sack him, but we are in freefall going one way.... some hard truths need to be had
