Desire Doue, Bradley Barcola, Michael Olise and Joao Neves those should‘ve been the players to play for us not Nunes, Doku [Savinho]. Neves costed 59 Million €, Nunes 62... Barcola who was by far the best winger in France, while Doku was playing for Stade Rennes. Barcola 45 Million & Doku 60 Million.

At least I have hopes for Savinho for Doku none.

He had miserable stats for Stade Rennes Desire Doue who was 16 had almost better G/A than Doku, also from playing style way better. Doku had 12G/ 10 A in 92 games for Rennes. 10 goals & 7 assist in 75 Ligue 1 games. Also he had issues with Injury at Rennes too. So who thought he was a good player?

losing hope with him. right now hard for me to see him developing into a great PL winger. dont seethe intelligence in his play, its like he is wasting huge energy even to beat a defender so he loses all energy to be able to put in a good cross after that. most of the times he beats a defender somehow ends up being up against same defender bit deeper, he beats them with a trick than lets them come back for another take on.

not just him but I am getting fed up with the end product of our wingers. Bernardo, Savinho, Grealish and Doku together all season wont get us as many goals and assists as Saka, Salah alone getting their team in 10 consecutive games.
its brutal but in PL only these 4 wingers have combined 3 goals and 9 assists.
this nothing special young Amad Diallo at the rags alone has 2 goals, 6 assists.
Jarrod Bowen 4 goals, 4 assists so far same as Son.
Saka 5+10 already.
Salah brutal 13+9 on his own and its not even January, his numbers would be decent even over a full season from the wing.

Spent 18 months repeating myself on Doku

Absolutely awful footballer, who has a moment here and there, that makes some people think it's more regular than it actually is

I get worried posting as someone from Belgium will stick up for him or someone from Croatia will stick up for Gvardiol
Locals will stick up for Foden but at the end of the day a lot of these ayers aren't performing

Nearly every goal we are conceding is an embarrassment
If we conceded a few wonder goals I wouldn't mind but the goals conceded in midweek and against the rags are all schoolboy errors

Thats why you also bought the most prolific goalscorer in the world. Thats the idea, for them to assist and for him to score. The problem is they don't get in good positions to assist often enough because of poor off ball movement (Doku due to lack of knowledge, Bernardo Silva due to lack of legs), and when they do, Haaland just doesn't read their game.

A bigger problem for me is Haaland, hes a vertical player, not someone who thrives on crosses. Put Osimhen or Vlahovic in his place and you solved most of the problem.

He gave the ball away 5 times in the first 50 minutes that led to rag chances. How he lasted 75 minutes, I'll never know. Grealish was waiting to come on for about 5 minutes, but because of a lack of urgency from our coaching team, he gave away possession again which led to the Ratface chance.
Having said that, Grealish was to blame for the pathetic corner that led directly to their penalty, so he was just as bad!
