Didn't stop to think of the issues of appointing someone mid season. New style of play, new player requirements, and the base fact that none of it addresses the underlying problems at that club.

They need to accept the fall. Should have come to terms with writing this season off and concentrated on clearing out the dross and getting their house in order, so that any incoming manager has an easier integration come summer.

But raggy impatience won't allow for that. They're Manshesh Nited, don't you know? They deserve respect, trophies, points. The trail of rubbish they leave in their wake no matter how many corners they turn, is best ignored rather than confronted.

But I will give them some credit for something wonderful and selfless they have done Thank you Manchester United for making football over the Christmas period palatable.

If he'd have anything about him, Amorim would of stood his ground and told them that he would join at the end of this season.
Yes the money would of been a lure but this guy seemed desperate to get into the Premier league ( the west ham debacle) so gets everything he deserves in my opinion.
Must think he's a better manager than he actually is.
But haven't they all at the swamp since the pisscan?

West Ham turned him down 'cos he seemingly hadn't managed a big club. Wherever he ends up next you could say the same thing,.
 
Just thought of the most ‘typical city’ thing that could ever happen

Rags get relegated on the last day… then a fortnight later we get deducted 40 points.. plunging us into the championship and giving them a reprieve

Or how about we both get relegated and play each other in the play off final lol

There has been no new manager bounce, Wolves have sacked someone and the new guy comes in and gets back to back wins. Why hasn’t Amorim achieved that? There has been no change in how they play and things seem to be getting worse. They do need to give him time as he has the unenviable task of clearing out Ten Hag’s mistakes. How do they expect to shift Rashford on his silly wages but also he isn’t playing so won’t be attractive to other teams wanting to take a punt.

We’ve seen with what happened with Dan Ashworth is that they don’t have any patience with someone telling them what they don’t want to hear. How long will it be before they start getting itchy trigger fingers?

It has taken United fans a long time for reality to sink in. The players they have now are the worst squad they have had since Ferguson retired. A flukey Derby win can’t hide that truth.

You wouldn't know it according to the media. A couple of weeks back I saw Rashford described as 'dynamic' in the Mirror.

Although someone called Sam Pilger on 'X' wrote 'Manchester United spent nearly £200 million on Antony, Joshua Zirkzee and Rasmus Hojlund - 3 players with almost no goal threat between them. Shockingly wasteful.'

I know for a fact, having been in conversation with someone who knows, that no tears were shed when he left for united. Eye brows were raised that the scum had given him a top job when he was considered 4th/5th down the line at city. A very junior partner who questioned how good he wven was at his job
