They’re most probably saying the same thing about us on their site. This was actually the worst R. Madrid side we faced.
Dont know about point A. But point B about the players who seem so e is probably wrong. They are done as top level players.!!!I think it will benefit the new team to have new ideas, it may even refresh some of the players who seem done.
Who it is, no idea.
It's not just players who can be done, managers too as we've seen with Wenger and Mourinho. They have a sell by date and I think Pep's reached his.Dont know about point A. But point B about the players who seem so e is probably wrong. They are done as top level players.!!!
Spot on major surgery needed in the summer and next couple of windows..Time to go. Of that starting xi only Haaland, Savinho, Gvardiol, Dias will be starters next season.
It looks that way but I suspect even with Rodri at his best there has been too much of a drop off from the vast majority of players. Many of whom are no longer up to the standard required week in week out to compete for trophies due to aging , injuries that will continue to dog them because they are just not fit enough to run and compete and lack the physicality required in the game to compete over 95 minutes for him to carry the team had been able to this season. We know who they are and we have to include KDB , Bernardo , Gundy , Grealish amongst that lot that won't be around the club for much longer.Watches KDB stink the place out all game but gives him 83 minutes while his new big money forward gets 5 minutes, Akanji gets hurt and instead of bringing on his fast and strong 40 million new CB, he brings on little Rico whom he has benched for the last few games, and the best of the lot was bringing on Gundogan for the last few minutes, I mean Ilkay didn't commit the major errors but why do you make that sub at all ? what is the point at this stage ? and of course after we concede the equaliser he can't bring any calmness and at least hold on for a draw,
Honestly Tonight just proves yet again that since last season it's no longer the Pep team, it's the Rodri team and he just can't find a solution at all.
And so does heThe manager just said we need to take accountability for what we do on the pitch.
It's just nonsense, we can't press but we do it anyway and it never works and it ends up with the opposition having the freedom of the park to run at us, on the ball it's mostly the slow rubbish where we wait for the opposition to get back in position and aimlessly pass it from side to side waiting for some magic to happen and it usually ends up with us losing the ball and them having the freedom of the park to counter.I’m just not convinced we can play this type of football and ever dominate again. Instead of sticking to our principles, we’ve chosen to play a way that puts us on the same level as other teams, but they have squads built to play that particular way and we don’t.
They're physically exhausted and that leads to mistakes, particularly late in games. It's not just the players that get the blame for the particular goals, they almost all look drained. It's just nonsense, we can't press but we do it anyway and it never works and it ends up with the opposition having the freedom of the park to run at us, on the ball it's mostly the slow rubbish where we wait for the opposition to get back in position and aimlessly pass it from side to side waiting for some magic to happen and it usually ends up with us losing the ball and them having the freedom of the park to counter.
Absolute mad tactics but he's been using them for months, but you know something I'm starting to think that even if he changes it and plays deeper and on the counter it wouldn't change much and we would still gift the opposition stupid goals because the mentality and confidence of this team is just terrible and he can't fix it.
We have had a a period of unique dominance at home, which is great but considering how good we've been we've underperformed in Europe.I can't believe that we still have people on this forum that can't see that Guardiola is the problem! It's over for feck's sake, and no amount of delusion is going to turn this around. We've had a decade of almost unique dominance, the like of we'll never see again, but it's gone, done, dusted, finished.
What we need now are new hungry people with fresh ideas. They may not be successful, but they'll have a much better chance of turning things around than a tired manager flogging a broken team.
