PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I can't believe we live in a country where a club can be found guilty, convicted and punished of mayhem that killed so many people and yet the media barely ever really went after them. Yet now another North West club has been publicly crucified for years for something they haven't even been found guilty of and not a single person hurt.
UEFA made a mistake they realy should have punished only Liverpool instead of all English clubs

This is the problem. Some of those Blues like Big Steve, who have a platform, have little or no knowledge of the detail (although they do their best to defend us robustly). But they don't really have the ammunition they need to destroy the witless babbling of someone like Carragher.

Stefan does have intimate knowledge of the detail but he's been clear that he's not there to specifically defend City's corner or act as our advocate. Although someone using facts and knowledge certainly helps.

We've no one really out there actively defending City's corner on these channels.

YOU!

It's not up to fans to shut these people up. It's up to the club. If they don't care I don't know what fans can do about it.

You know as well as anyone that fans can't argue with stupid, but the club can stop lies and misrepresentations if they are that worried about it.

Get the buckets out see if we can get enough to take the fucker to court ?

Woah! Sounds like another one who believes his opinions are facts.

And poor old liverpool, quick get the candles out for them to be able to grieve the times when the "beautiful competitive balance" was swung in their favour with a moneybags owner.

There is no evidence that has ever been City’s intention, he’s on shaky ground.

That's the point. He states there is an intention to work with no rules to continue to enable fraudulent commercial deals.

I spoke to City the other week when Sherwood said on Sky that we don't play by the rules and they had to issue an on-air apology.

The club can't give a running commentary on cases where there's a duty of confidentiality but I do agree that they could have been more aggressive about some of the absolute lies and drivel in the media where that duty doesn't apply.

So a public statement rebutting that Wallace article, saying unequivocally that we've never challenged the basic notion of financial regulation or the PSR/FFP framework as whole, would stop the nonsense being repeated. And if anyone did repeat it, then we could take them straight to court.

This was an interesting discussion. The most worrying thing, though, was that the **** Jordan and @slbsn were agreeing. Should we be happy or very, very worried? :)

There’s literally zero chance that the majority of listeners understand any of this issue.

The fact there is this much mither being caused by money is a fucking disgrace.

Yeah but we know the root of all this is jealousy. If we were mid table and hadn’t won anything then I doubt anyone would give a shit.

To the point that if you have the temerity to remind Liverpool fans about it at Anfield these days and are caught doing so, you end up with a 3 year Football Banning Order and a fine. And if you manage to successfully get the 3 year FBO overturned - as happened with my mate when he spent thousands on a decent lawyer - the cuckolds at our own football club still end up banning you from City matches for the next 3 years, order you to undertake an awareness course within 12 months of the "offence" if you want to be allowed back into our stadium when your ban is up, and tell you to apologies to a Liverpool supporters group for daring to call them murderers.

Meanwhile, despite all the CCTV in our stadium the **** who scarred a 15 year-old female City fan for life when he chucked that pint pot full of coins down onto her still hasn't been arrested.
It's incredible how much our freedom of speech has been eroded. Personally I would not shout about Heysel at a football match but people are supposed to have a right to protest in this country.
