Jude Bellingham

Said it for ages..

Is he a great passer of the ball regularly? Not really.

Does he control and run games? Not from what I've seen.

After his purple patch last season, he's just a pretty decent goal scorer.

He's got a strong (and cuntish) mentality that allows him to pop up in big moments sometimes, that's a great attribute. He can go missing in games because of his ability but it's never due to hiding.

He doesn't seem to excel at anything with the ball and his all round game is just alright. Once the hype fully dies down, it'll become more evident that he's more of a Scott McTominay than some elite player. A good box crasher but no real great ability to control games.

Since his great first 4 months at Madrid in terms of personal performance, i think I've seen him look anonymous more than I've seen him make an impact on a game.

I actually think he would struggle a bit in the premier league
Goes missing too often and if he doesn’t score he doesn’t really contribute much else
Not sure why he is rated so highly
Oh and he’s a bit of a **** to boot

last season he had much more attacking role, arriving front of goal etc. now with arrival of Mbappe who does not work hard off the ball Bellingham has been asked to cover much more defensively and he doesnt like it clearly and also plays further away from the goal.

wonder how Real will solve this issue as Vinicius, Mbappe is just poor out of possession and now they have more limited deep midfielders as Kroos retired and Modric fucking hell almost 40 years old.

totally anonymous tonight to the point of invisibility - he can't cope with high speed games

ok in slow paced games where he can do something flashy, but ultimately he is hugely overrated.
Yeah, the English press fastened on to the idea, as they did with Sancho, that it was only the continentals who could see the value and potential of such a player, and he hasn't been slow himself in feeding the hype. Pogba was another from the same mould - wander around a pitch with little intent and then lash one in from anywhere and the media would forget the 89mins of total anonymity. By Jeez, we dodged one there.

Said it when he was giving 'billy big spuds' last year, but he needs to be careful.

He's a really good player in the final third but was always going to be sacrificed when they got Mbappe.
Their balance is all wrong and at the moment and he's in a midfield with Modric, who can't run.

He thought he'd made it and giving his plastic club comment about us (allegedly) could come back to bite him.

His ego is massive and he'll have admirers everywhere, but he could easily become another casualty at Real as they look to rebuild again.

Vinicius has gone backwards (stop laughing everyone) and Rodrygo looks disinterested because they get the ball to Mbappe who mostly shoots.

They certainly won't bin Vinicius, Rodrygo maybe, but they look to strengthen the midfield and Valverde will play in there when they get a defence.

The best he'll be is a 6/8 (Zubimendi been heavily linked with Real), so could be a very expensive sub!

However, would I take him?
Definitely.

Not saying much. State of us at the minute I'd take Modric!

Would I take him at city right now to play this weekend? Yeah, over our pensioners

Would I take him as part of a rebuild where we need youngish players who are going to be quality for quite a few years to come? No. I don't think he's that good. I would hope we can find better talent in terms of ability on the ball, they just won't come with the same hype.

We excel when we can control games and I don't think he's that kind of player.

I wouldn't be at all worried if he went to a premier league club. He's good, not great.

Rodrygo is the only one who isn't a complete egotistical ****.

I watched a lot of Jadon Sancho when he first went to Borussia Dortmund. Early on in his career there, I went to watch them for my 40th. They were playing Augsburg, won 4-3 and he played really well. I got the bug for German football and can't stand Bayern so watched a lot of Dortmund on BT Sports. I found that he looked exceptional when he was up against Augsburg, Hertha Berlin or Darmstadt but not so clever (almost anonymous) when they played Bayern, RB Leipzig or any decent opposition in the Champions League.

Then he came onto the national scene. He did well in a few England matches against Macedonia and the like but again, disappeared when England played anyone of note. Those early England matches made the nation sit up and take notice and I heard many a pundit tell us all how he was THE man in the Bundesliga. You get to a stage where you begin to doubt what you've actually watched with your own eyes because they're ex-players being paid to give an opinion so must know more than me. Then you realise that they probably haven't watched a single Borussia Dortmund match.

When he was coming back to the Premier League, I had reds all around me telling me they were signing the new big thing. I was delighted when he signed for them. Look how that turned out.

I feel the same thing could be happening with Jude Bellingham.

Dippers I reckon.

I think there was such unbridled interest in Sancho by the English press because they were intent on informing the world that we had let an absolute gem spill from our grasp, and then the pure delight that this Messi-anic marvel was off to the Rags, a tenure that showed everyone his true level.
