PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

That's because one is posting his understanding based on what he has heard, the other claims to be posting facts.

Purported facts are obviously scrutinised more closely than an "understanding".
Yeah maybe, he may be certain of it. Just like TH on transfers that go belly up.

Remember the poster on here a couple of months back that eventually got thread banned after convincing many that the that verdict was coming out in a couple of days. I dont recall anyone actually saying he was categorically 100% wrong!

Time for a sabbatical from this infuriating threat until judgement and exhoneration day.
If it's the one I'm thinking of, he was called a **** by all and sundry long before the day had come and gone.

BTW 59302 - any determination of a W Disciplinary has to be announced as soon as practicable. If City are clear and there is therefore no sanction hearing to follow, then the decision has to be announced as soon as practicable.View attachment 162474

I thought that was just talking about notification to Rosen and the two parties?

And, presumably, it being an arbitration, if the two parties wanted to hold up publication the panel would be favourable? I thought you had suggested that earlier in terms of timing?

I could well be wrong but people seem to have this notion that everyone at City would know what the outcome was if it had been reached. And if it was informally communicated in April, then it'll still be the same outcome in August. The delay isn't going to change that.

But it's been said before that both my source and Stefan & Ahsan's source could be telling the truth. The knowledge could be restricted to a handful of individuals on both sides, who have agreed to non-disclosure. I'd postulate that, if I'm right, the knowledge is limited to board members only and maybe only Khaldoon & Simon Cliff at City. Maybe John Macbeth as well. The Chief Marketing and Finance Officers, who are not main board members, may not know.

If we go back to 2008, there was no leak prior to the day of the announcement of the sale to ADUG. That's because they'd insisted on strict NDAs, documents that the Everton board wouldn't sign but we did, which led to ADUG withdrawing from negotiations with Kenwright.

While City may not be too keen on the PL leadership currently, I can't imagine they want the complete chaos that might ensue from a bombshell announcement and (as one journalist speculated) civil war if the PL, or some of its members, are shown to have acted in bad faith.
You may well be right Blue if this is a very tight limited group, however, while this seems plausible to me for a limited period, as time passes it becomes harder to keep a decision of such magnitude under wraps.

Just playing devil’s advocate again, I did say this previously, but why is it not possible to know the decision without seeing the full judgment?

I’d assume the panel made their decision a long time ago, and the last few months has been the putting together of the enormous charge by charge judgment, so is it not feasible to know we are fine without the detail?

as far as i can see,
there are only 2 possibilities here...

the first is that the verdict has not been released.
in which case both stefan and ahsan have been correctly informed of this by their sources.

my conclusion from that is either:
a) p.b. has been incorrectly informed.
b) p.b. is chatting total shit.

my analysis of it being:
a) given that p.b.'s source knows full well that he posts on here, they would have little or nothing to gain from doing that.
b) p.b. would have little or nothing to gain from doing that if it all comes out in the wash and is discovered to be the case.

the second is that the verdict has been released, in which case p.b. has been correctly informed by his source.

my conclusion from that is either:

b) stefan and/or ahsan are chatting total shit.

my (more complex) analysis of it being:
a1) stefan's sources don't know the verdict.
a2) stefan's sources know the verdict but have chosen not to tell him yet because they know he posts on here.
a3) stefan's sources have told him but he's not going to let on.
a4) ahsan's sources don't know the verdict.
a5) ahsan's sources know the verdict but have chosen not to tell him yet because they know he posts on here.
a6) ahsan's sources have told him but he's not going to let on.
b) stefan and/or ahsan would have little or nothing to gain from doing that if it all comes out in the wash and is discovered to be the case.

in summary:
i think at least one person, club source or bluemoon poster, is telling a lie.

for what it's worth,
my ten penneth is i don't care one jot what the outcome is,
or who the liar(s) might be.
i am and always will be ctid

If I'd known that this thread was like a cross between Poirot and Celebrity Death Match I'd have paid more attention to it.

I've not been that fussed as irrespective of outcome it won't for me diminish our achievements. To do that this would needed to have been about genuine fair play and probity but as it's only ever been about protectionism it has no moral legitimacy whatsoever and bluntly I can adjust to supporting City whatever league we're in, so I'm good.
