What would be funny is if they got absolutely zero points out of those upcoming 6 games. They are that shit it’s more than possible.
If they don't get, I don't even know, 4? 6?, out of the next three he'll be gone in the next international break and they have a squad that surely someone can set up to be chasing a conference league place.

It's the midfield that is his problem.

Ratboy didn't track Foden for the first goal, Ugarte hilariously out of position for the second, and the 3rd goal came because they'd vacated the space in midfield and their defenders had to push up to close the gap, which left them open in behind.

They need to play 3 in midfield. I'm not a manager, but I would put Masroui in there as the holding midfielder. If your center half is having to close gaps in midfield, you've got a big problem.
It's more than the midfield. See Sesko and their goalkeepers.

The thing is, and it’s a funny thing, is that nobody of any kind of serious reputation would want to go near it. The managers they attract are there knowing full well it’s win-win. Have a crack, if it fails walk off with multi millions in the bank and go to another club.

It’s how it will be for some time to come.

Could someone do a Monday Night Football tactical analysis of the defensive shape of them here?

I suppose with them being 2 down at that point and taking risks that there's a bit of mitigation but that's still downright hilarious! I'd be interested to see where they were positioned when Reijnders nearly scored a carbon copy a bit later

He's made an issue out of the formation. Pundits all saying he doesn't have the players for it.

1 his approach is an issue. There comes a point where you have to accept its not working and he's gone to far beyond that. It's the stick he will get beaten with.

2 It's not just the players don't fit a back 3. There just not very good. There is no spine to that team. Maguire isn't great but I'd be playing him. At least he has some presence.

3 The club has a toxic culture. Shit players getting overpaid. I would have gone back to basics this summer. Brought in 5 or 6 players on much lower wages and then told the whole squad everyone's spot is at risk. Say to the new lads that if they break in then there is a big pay rise available. Shake it up a bit.

Bruno is the issue but they made him captain and can't really drop him. They should have sold him and replaced with a proper 8 not using him as he's a 10. He's lazy and doesnt track runners, Ugarte is cack aswell. If they played Mainoo and the overpaid Casemeiro they would be more solid but that's not going to happen. If he sticks with Bruno and that formation he's toast. A new goalkeeper should have been the first new player through the door aswell.

anyway fuck em. Hopefully they get relegated.

Got to love SSN's online take on finding excuses for them.

"Amorim and the United hierarchy feel they are losing out on the fine margins right now.

There are other mitigating circumstances too - the injuries to Mason Mount and Matheus Cunha are particularly damaging, especially because United's squad doesn't have the strength in depth of any of the other "Big Six" clubs right now."

This is for a club who have spent net £783million over the last 5 seasons and a staggering net £1.35BILLION over the last 10 seasons.

"It will take several transfer windows and clever recruitment before that is a reality. Mount and Cunha should both be back available soon."

How many bloody transfer windows do they need?
Sound like the executives justifying their decision to appointment him to their owners

Hes a dead man walking being saved by a number of factors
He was INEOS' appointment
Going to cost to sack him
They haven't got a replacement
A few games before the next international farce

Their celebration of their transfer window as something only they could do in their position. They’ve spent upwards of £200 plus million on Premier League jobbers and a striker that looks worse than the person he was replacing in Hoijland. Not to mention signing a keeper from a league that is worse standard than the championship.

I heard some idiot rag in the beer garden before the season started that they could compete for the league with their new signings. I nearly spat my pint out in disbelief.

They get rid of Amorim and the circle of mediocrity keeps going. They’ve already got Sancho, Hoijland and Rashford out on loan, a new manager comes in and he will have to completely rebuild the squad and take a wrecking ball to it. Trouble is who would want the players they have? They only have one good player in Fernandes and he’s the wrong side of his career age wise. It’s death by a thousand cuts and will take another billion to fix, trouble is they need probably another three billion to build their stadium on top of what ever the council pays to move that freight terminal. They are in a right spot of bother.
That stadium is never getting built... well as rendered anyway - it just too overcomplicated and not at all suited to Manchester weather.

But but but according to the stats they’ve massively improved this season. It’s almost like people have eyes and can see what’s in front of them? Just looking at stats in face value doesn’t always show the bigger picture. They are fucking rubbish

Their next 6:

I reckon they might have 10 points at the end of this run, averaging a point a game, if they don't beat Sunderland they're in trouble.
Chelsea will beat them
Draw at Brentford
Win vs Sunderland
Hammered at Anfield
Dicked by Brighton
Win at Forest

Amorin wont be in charge for the Brighton game IMO

Remember when they all celebrated taking Berrarda and co from us. Yeah they’ve really hit the ground running lads. Silly twats
Ah Project 150... Omar's grand plan to win the Premier League in 2028 - surely that should now be recast as hang on in the Premier League until 2028?

And so say all of us!
