I hope the clubs and Khaldoons confidence is correct, but the PL would not have spent vast amount of resources and got some of the best Lawyers involved if they thought they thought there was no case to answer to.
Those last emails published were quite damning taken in isolation. Doesn't mean City went ahead with what was proposed in them and I'm hoping the evidence we provided proved we didn't.
I wouldn't of expected City to have come out with their tail between the legs and provide sombre messages post the charges. They had to be firm to keep stakeholders including fans, sponsors, politicians, Pep etc on the right side. If we are found guilty for any of the serious charges, the implications are severe not just for the club but commercially and politically too.
