The PL have locked them in a windowless, basement room with no access to phones or the internet would be my guess. What prevent independent panel from announcing the outcome of this case ?

Maybe a smoke signal.today is 115 days since i quit smoking hashish.
soft signal?
People who are somewhat informed about the situation, are you confident we'll beat the charges? I'm not asking for wishful thinking here, but that the charges themselves is an inflated witch hunt?
Yes, I can say that to you.
The PL doesn't have a snowflake's chance in hell of proving the most serious allegations because, even if the club did everything alleged, they couldn't prove it without access to incriminating financial records from Etihad or ADUG (as was), which they won't have, or a whistle-blower from inside Abu Dhabi, which no-one, I suspect, is stupid enough to be.
Add to that, the fact that the owner would have to be stupid, which he isn't by a long chalk, to think of such a hair-brained way of getting around FFP, and the absolutely aggressive denials from the club, and I think it's fair to say we are on safe ground.
The minor allegations I don't care about, every club breaches some rules sometimes.
Who? Never heard of him. Maybe email him and see if he replies to confirm.Do we have Lord Pannick defending the club? I know that was a name figuring in the media when this shit started.

I was only joking with you, apologies. Welcome to Bluemoon. One of Englands best attorneys, according to rumours! There were lots of talks he would lead City's case, but maybe I got that part wrong.
Once they complete their work, is there any reason for a delay in announcing the outcome or are we likely to know very soon after they have reached their decision?not having completed their work

Yes, he is involved in (and leading) City's case.
Reluctant to tell you for some reason.Wonderful. Which happy chappie was you previously?
Sense of humour goes a long way on this forum.
Once they complete their work, it must then be decided which one of the four horsemen should deliver it.Once they complete their work, is there any reason for a delay in announcing the outcome or are we likely to know very soon after they have reached their decision?
Welcome back, Ajay :)not really, was here years ago but decided to fck off because of the attitude and people overly sensitive to fair criticism of players and performance. seems this place haven't changed much.
I would understand the attitude if I rooted for a rival, but I don't. City fans should be able to get along, what is the fkng point otherwise.
Thanks pal. Those kinds of broadly worded, contingent break clauses are not commonplace in elite football contracts. Many players, however, do have a relegation release clause that would be triggered if the club were relegated.
another bloke you scared away? hahaWelcome back, Ajay :)
I believe 1 year of Etihad was time barred. The Etisalat contract was time barred also. Opposing fans will always latch onto things like that. The big prize for Uefa was proving wrong doing in the Etihad contract and they did not achieve it. Interestingly, unless the PL can prove fraud there could be a lot of charges that are time barred this time round too. Thanks for this, much appreciated. Lots of people claimed it was due to allegations being time barred that cleared us. I'm not sure that was the case of not, but if there were no financial wrong doings, it's good for this case I guess.
I don’t think I’m somewhat informed, I’m simply no more or less confused than many others. There is a body of opinion that the case is largely a rerun of the CAS hearing. CAS found there was no evidence to support any of those charges and many are completely sceptical that the PL have any new compelling evidence. Stefan, however, assures us that the Pl would not have brought the case unless unless it were confident of winning. But when the charges were made public there was real confusion: City’s lawyers had to inform the PL that they were actually charging the club with, among other things, not cutting the grass short enough and not entering the FA cup - in the season we actually won it! So , it seems easier to make sensible analysis of the mad hatter’s tea party than suggest a likely outcome to all this.People who are somewhat informed about the situation, are you confident we'll beat the charges?
