This thread goes all over the place but, never had a show been named incorrectly, on the bits I see of it, half the contestants seem to have flown in from abroad just to take part.

Does this really happen or are they plants to fluff the show out?

We used to have to reply to ITV emails and that's absolutely genuine. They came from everywhere, don't forget, it's a franchise basically and most countries have their own version. The same people will be applying to shows all over the world in the hope that they "get discovered".
