Agree. I don't see any sequence of events where he leaves early. His cabinet is designed specifically around loyalty. They are never playing the 25th card. My understanding is that JD would have to initiate the vote and again, that's not gonna happen.GOPers in the House and Senate need to believe supporting him makes it more likely they lose their next elections or get primaried as opposed to what it’s been the last 10+ years, which is the precise opposite. We are still a long, long way from that if that day ever comes.
But to your point, as we know in nearly all endeavo(u)rs in life — change comes slowly, then quickly.
He could be impeached and removed but that requires a long messy process and 2 3rds majority. So I don't see it.
So the GOP are stuck with him. I can only see this getting messy as the mid terms will be a disaster for the GOP and once they are done all eyes are on the positioning for the next POTUS nomination. Can you imagine Trump staying quiet and supporting the process??? He's not going to enjoy others making a pitch for his job.
