Theres no American missiles left to defend Taiwan because the US has used them all on Iran.

The early warning radar got shipped to Israel to protect them instead.

China is building enough superconductor facilities to make Taiwan globally irrelevant.

It’s not so much Taiwan hedging against the USA and more realising they’re fucked if/when China decides to reabsorb them if MAGA is still in charge.

Or they’re thinking about merging with China themselves and setting themselves up as a SAR like Hong Kong.

Lets not forget that The Art of the Deal is off to China next month. They will be licking their lips over the prospect of the Don being so distracted by Iran he'll just roll over on Tiwan for some cheap golden trinket he can take back and hang up in his Temu sponsored offce.

As much as we hate Trump.. we have to come to terms with the Dem establishment's love of Israel.

The reality needs to be absorbed by them that the candidate most likely to win the next election has to be anti-Israel!

So Fetterman, Kelly, Newsom are easy losses.

So what does DeSantis think about Israel? And why couldn’t any Democrat change their mind about Israel, assuming you’re right about what they think, which we don’t know?

Are you like that nincompoop who believes the American people care more about a candidate’s stance on Israel than any other issue?

I wish I was a nincompoop.. then I'd be ignorantly blissful thinking Trump is MAGA.

Unfortunately through bitter experience I've learned not to ignore what the nincompoops think when there's a large consensus among them. It's haunted us with Hillary, it's haunted us with the migrants.. and right now with high gas prices.. there's a consensus forming in America to not be Israel's bitch!

When the dems were willing to listen and go with Obama instead of Hillary they won. When the dems ignored and went with Hillary over Bernie.. they lost!

So yeah this thing will piss off enough people that they go looking for a different candidate or just don't vote. Anyways we'll find out what happens..

What I want.. what I really want is a national divorce so I don't have to deal with the nincompoops ever again!

I like AOC but I don't think she's POTUS material. Whitmer can do it maybe..

But you're right.. it's unlikely.

I don't think China will want to do it militarily though, they're not ego driven and it's not really their modus operandi. They have a plan and patience by the bucketload.

Even without US support, any response from Taiwan would result in a bloodbath and China wouldn't want that. They'll sit tight and work in the background squeezing and manipulating and eventually they will get what they want, even if it takes 50 years.
