Not convinced at all that he is anything other than a very early developer. He bossed the U17 euros by being a foot taller than everyone else and built like a brick shithouse, but I don't recall him doing much requiring a brain or ability. Surprised Chelsea didn't go after him tbh, he's very much their sort of youth player
 
You guys must be shitting yourselves with all these world class player that we are buying at the moment. You can't obviously compete with us financially so we left you the likes of Pogba and De bruyne to get.
 
Liverpool pulling out of the bidding for benteke they think he's overpriced, but they expect us to pay 50m for sterling HYPOCRITES.
 
Don't see a problem really. Expect them to try and get as much as they can for Sterling, and pay as little as they can for Benteke. If Villa ask more than they think he's worth, why shouIdnt they move on?

Trust me mate, I watch a lot of Charlton's games (kind of a fan from my time in London) and I've known about Gomez for years. He's the real deal.

He's so comfortable on the ball for a CB of his age. Reminds me a lot of a young Rio Ferdinand.

It remains to be seen how well he'll be developed there, but my prediction is that Gomez will be a star and leave Liverpool for a bigger club in a few years.

How good was Phil Jones as a teenager though?!

United have completely ruined Jones by playing him in too many positions and now he hasn't got a clue what to do.

The myth that United develop all these top young players is just that. A myth.
