I will tell you what is pathetic son - the constant booing of our team for 90 minutes in 2013/2014 by the whole of the home support at anfield, the bricking off City coaches by your fans on the day that we absolutely and impeccably respected the Hillsborough anniversary. The cocky and premature celebrations of winning the title were just little add-ons to the classless way that your club conducted itself that day. Let us also not forget that Merseyside was as bad as it got for away fans for 2 or 3 decades, but at least until 2013/2014 I thought that you lot had got over your bitterness and your appalling behaviour, and treatment of visiting supporters. When your fans can behave with class and dignity, then come back and call me a 5 year old, but until then you are what you are
Seriously you're complaining about a home team's fans booing an away team who have possession of the ball.

Wow.

if you ever master europe and play in the latter stages of the European cup you will find that is quite a common tactic by home fans.

John Henry sticking to his valuation.

Seems the antics of sterling and his agent is to bring the price down by being difficult and forcing the transfer through at a lower price.

Aidy ward is poison with his past clients antics with Odemwingie and Berahino,i hope this transfer goes through quick and be done with him and let you have a future problem when it will arise in a couple of years time.

He won't have cause to to complain at City. We treat our players with the respect they deserve and private meetings are kept private. We pay them the going rate, they play with world class team mates, play in Europe every year and have a great chance of winning major trophies. They train in the best facilities in the world for fans who realise that Manchester City are a club and not a cult. Raheem will do just fine if he comes here.

If I were Liverpool I'd want this one done asap with rvp out the door at utd I wouldn't bet against them going for Benteke !!!

Ward wasnt Odemwingie's agent.

But it's funny how in recent months a lot of people have made out that he was.

I wonder why?

They clearly are a more attractive club. They have won two titles in the last few seasons. I do think he has time on his hands though. Had he been 26 27 I could understand his desperation to leave. My issue is the way it's been handled by him and his agent. It doesn't make him look good which ever way you look at it.
Why should he wait 6 or 7 years? The boat could well and truly have sailed at that stage.

Yeah, bet Chelsea regret signing Ashley Cole.

Kindly ignore my post if you have nothing constructive to say.

And thanks to those City fans that are not acting like 5 year olds with pathetic scouse digs and are actually participating in some decent debate.
Like you ignored the quotes you asked for?

Also, our contracts are performance based anyway. If he performs well, he'll earn well. If he's earning top whack then I guess it justifies any pay increase.

I kinda hope we get him for 2m next year and fuck Henry the yank ****.

He knows as much about football as I do about laying eggs.

Suarez has bit 3 different people on a football pitch, been racist, dives about every game and he's praised quite a lot these days, football as a whole is fickle, everyone will move on, sunshine and roses, quit bleating on and accept he's gone, hopefully your club follows suit and values him at what they said he was worth when they offered him a new contract and that certainly wasn't £50 million.

Why should he wait and, more to the point, who are Liverpool to tell him how to run his career? If Sterling thinks he's good enough to take the step up, as many, many players his age (and younger) already have, then who is Rodgers to say he's not ready? We obviously think he's good enough. There is absolutely no reason for him to wait until he's 26/27 and if Rodgers is going to go all David Brent on him then my only surprise is he hasn't pushed for a move sooner.

No mention of the bricked coaches I see? As to mastering Europe, Champions League n all that, one day Rodney, one day (and as they say, you've got to be in it to fucking win it, la')

Good point. Why would a player valued at £50 mil get offered a contract below that worth?

Maybe if the Liverpool hadn't been treating the lad like a pariah since when, March? Things wouldn't have turned out like this, leaking things to the press, and getting almost every ex Liverpool pro to publicly have a dig at a kid. Spite, vindictiveness and desperation, aren't the greatest qualities for a football club to portray, if they are seeking an amicable outcome.

I'd rather complain about being bricked after impeccably observing your hillsborough memorial

Exactly, it clicked with me when the Brendan Rodgers qoutes were put up about Sterlings contract negotiations, backed his club into a corner with what he said.

I've watched hundreds of Premier league games over the years. i have seen fans booing one of their ex-players or booing generally for a minute or so after a controversial decision or booing someone who has committed a bad tackle. But I have never once see an opposing team booed in unison from the outset for an elongated period of time. But even that pales with the classlessness of bricking the team coach. You are better off just accepting that rather than attempting to defend the undefendable.
