The problem with that is bonuses still count. If his base pay of £Y is fairly small, but he's accustomed to taking home £X every week because he usually fulfils our easy to reach bonuses, he's going to demand £X/week from Juve, not £Y

It's mainly based on performance and appearances! So we make it clear he ain't guaranteed first team place

I would imagine he would ask for more than they would pay. Unfortunately. Still, he is a serious player when he gets his shit together.

Agree about Zucculini btw, at least potentially. Had forgotten about him. There's another non hg place maybe used, & another potential cm.
 

I thought he just picked up a knock, and should be OK for West Brom. I meant he is supposed to be free of that groin injury he was carrying last year which made him awful after the Stoke game.
 
People talking about 1 out 1 in and when dzeko goes thats 2 out, I think its more to do with out wage structure and keeping it within ffp.. So 2 out and 1 in it will be I reckon..

It's a fair assumption, but I'd be surprised if we are that tight to the line re wages. A lot of effort has gone into sorting that. But it's a fair point as regards not wasting money. If we were paying DeBruyne, Pogba, Dzeko & Jovetic for two months, it's a lot of money.
 
Links coming from Spain again that we are looking at Isco as the alternative to KDB. Would love Isco here, great quality on the ball,grafts his bollocks off without the ball and would probably cost about 20mill less than KDB. Use the money saved to get Bernat from Bayern.
 
I think Iheanacho would take up a foreign spot in CL as he hasn't been here for 2 years, Zuculini would though he has an Italian passport, I think

I would say we're light in attacking midfield as well as being one top class player light in central midfield.

But regards to the wage structure surely we will have let Richards, Negredo, Lampard, Jovetic, Sinclair, Milner, Dzeko (?) go and replaced them with Sterling, Delph, Roberts and..........

I think there is room for another two signings if we wanted, however I think there will be only one.

That way it leaves a space in the squad and next year when Pep takes over we can make a marquee foreign signing without even having to create space in the squad for it will already be there.

I don't know though and like the old saying goes I could be following a muck cart thinking it is a wedding.

And besides Silva and Sterling, Arsenal's midfield looks so much stronger.

That's funny because if you take Sanchez and Ramsey out ours looks much the stronger of the two. Any more gems? Like how the rags forward line looks stronger than Barca's if you don't count Messi, Neymar and Suarez?
