His account has always been 30 I think. Type it in Twitter and you can find people tagging that name going back ages.

eg:

Once you change names all previous tweets tags etc get changed automatic to changed name.

Looking at his stats it seems he has been a late developer. His international career only really taking off over the last year.

From the City angle having spent 32 mill on a CB last year we weren't expecting to shell out the same amount a year later. Admission that Mangala has been a failure?

So two £30m+ central defemders plus Belgium's captain plus a guy who has played in a WC Final and a Copa America Final in the past couple of Summers?

Going to be a fucking strong LC team ...

Which of course would lead conveniently to Txiki for you at a guess?

Think I have a point though.

Does anyone spend 32 million on a defender to sit on the bench which is where he is now heading?

If it's that or get 4m a year for 5 years, yeah.

Two world class options for each position was the quote.

Bet you miss City being shite don't you.

Strange question. Evidently we do. Mangala will play plenty. Anybody with an ounce of the common stuff can see that.

Getting dropped from the world cup squad by Argentina and going back to Brazil on loan for 6 months seems to have triggered some sort of attitude change in him. He was very good under AVB at Porto, then stagnated and fell out with the club which lead to 18 months playing well below potential before he was bought by Valencia and loaned to Atletico Miniero.

Since then he seems to have grown up. Not just in his playing style, but also appearance. He's gone from clean shaven kid with one or two small tattoos to big beard, full sleeves etc. He looks like a completely different person, and he's playing like a much better player.
