5 worst refereeing decisions against city

The blog site PB gave a link to on page 7 on football match fixing, has some great articles. Like the following bit on Peter Walton:

Peter Walton is a Red Bastard

Last night Manchester City were denied two penalty shouts by Peter "Grandad" Walton.
So what? Referees are paid to make decisions.

But what is it that influences the decisions that Grandad makes?

In 21 matches refereeing Manchester United over eight seasons, the Reds have won 15, drawn 6 and lost 0.
In the same period, Walton has officiated 13 Manchester City games with only 3 ending in victory for the Citizens with 6 defeats.

But the last four years of refereeing from Mr Walton are even more revealing.

Manchester United 11 wins, 4 draws and 0 defeats (15 matches 37 points)
Manchester City 0 wins, 3 draws and 4 defeats (7 matches 3 points).

In 22 matches over four seasons, Man Utd have NEVER LOST with Walton in charge while City have NEVER WON.

Or take the last three seasons where the cumulative points difference between United and City is 27 points - fully 18 of these points are due to the supposedly unconscious biases of an old man.

It is this sort of thing that determines titles.

The fact that this knickpoint in performance by Walton coincides with the introduction of Shinawatra's stolen largesse leading onto the petro-dollars that made football in Manchester truly competitive is only a further point that requires a response from PGMOB/Walton.

Either this is just another collection of Incredible Flukes or the PGMOB and Peter Walton have some explaining to do over the bias, and it is a statistically significant bias, and over the reason the old bastard gets, on average, six games a season to 'favour' the Ferguson Reds.

Also, after United being presented with Chris Foy and Walton for the two post-crisis matches, Foy was once again 4th Official to a junior referee for the Stoke game last night .
This means, The Racism Derby aside, Ferguson has been given dominant referees of Foy (a false sending off and two penalty decisions), Walton (a penalty), Webb with five bookings of Arsenal players (remember Ryan Babel's tweet) and Foy again (two penalties) since Newcastle/Blackburn.

And so we have a Title Race...
... although it is more akin to a Handicap Hurdle with City carrying top weight.

Wasn't Andy Morrison sent off for licking someone's face,or is my old memory playing tricks ?
If I'm wrong feel free to laugh at an old man

Yep, Stan Collymore at Fulham.

Going way back my introduction to "Anfield Rules" was seeing Roger Palmer get blatantly hacked down in the area in front of the Kop and the ref calmly waving play on as if nothing had happened.

In my 50 years of supporting city I could name at least 5 definite bent decisions, also at least 20 very very suspicious decisions, many more slightly baffling decisions, by some unexplained coincidence most seem to be against United Liverpool Arsenal with a few others thrown in, I've always been absolutely sure that the officials were working to orders, more so last Saturday, I have a theory that it was designed to get the scum to the top of the table, we'll come on slur Alex has a lot of copies to sell ?

Yes we had a shit linesie or whatever they are called nowadays.

But why the f*** are we being so intropesctive? Why live in the past?

Shit happens and if you think it's anti City take it to the agenda/bias thread.

We got beat, move on.

FFS, Would you rather watch Jamie Pollock or David Silva?

Whilst I agree that the idea of a bad decision being part of an anti city agenda is ludicrous, I'm not quite sure what the comparison of silva to pollock has to do with bad decisions?

Liverpool away, cant remember the ref, Joe Royle's City are two down and get one back, a few moments later Alfie Harland is scythed down in the box at the Kop end, ref chooses to ignore it but the linesman flags profusely and he has to give it after consultation.
The original decision was as bent as it gets imo.
Joe Royle's post match comments were superb.

Hasn’t been mentioned here but I’m pretty sure Horlock, who was running into the box in a League Cup game v Palace, was nearly beheaded in last few minutes and no penalty was awarded.
I was going to say this one, just an unbelievable decision and at a time when a League Cup Quarter Final was absolutely huge for us. Against Ipswich wasn't it?

Because clearly like many idiots on here you can't criticise City on how they play, you can't also criticise the officials because we was once shit. Madness

Anyone mentioned penalty given against us at Birmingham? Sun Jihai was the apparent culprit of errr nothing
