the beswick buzzard has had a good 18 years, but has never managed to suplant or replace the round badge as a firm favourite, yeah it's worn by most, that is because it's the official badge, but always there in the background and I would say worn by a large % of match day fans in some form (scalf, hat, shirt, key ring, pin badge etc) is the classic round badge either shield or rose, it would be pointless to have done all this and then keep the thing, as it's looks obvious the majority want a round badge of some kind.

Also rags hate all our badges if we are beating/better than them or not
 
I think its a pretty poor argument that its either round without the eagle or keep it as it is. People DO like the eagle, long time City fans so stop trying to spin it and twist it you bird haters lol.

I think there's a good chance the eagle will stay(too many like it) and the badge will be changed to a round one, so some of you best prepare for an outcome that includes an eagle... maybe stock up on some relaxing herbal tea? ;)

I know exactly what i've posted in the past, i like the eagle useage once i seen it wrapped around the badge inner ..if it's to used like other depictions like some 3rd year students sketched it inside of a shield then no...aesthetically it dont work.Form and function trumps form or function..innit?

Rag Wum...funny you should mention laws back heel, i was there, i was in L.C.Edwards chair in the directors box, the old fella was in mrs's..he made Roger edwards have it rotten at full time...i fuckin luvd it.

I see numbers aren't your strongest points. 79 is more than 51.
The thing about forums is that opinions are just that. Politics, Hong Kong & elections are not part of it. Its a badge consultation. I get you like eagles. Do you have any more pets?

Lol some of you are trying too way to hard. Who is it you're really trying to convince? ;) Gonna be sooo sweet to see that eagle shinin' on, in the new badge.

In all fairness mate, there was 7 symbols to vote for and the eagle was the 6th most popular. The only thing less popular was the stars.

More popular than the eagle were:
The round badge
The traditional inner shield
The 3 rivers
The rose
The latin script.

So if you're suggesting we include every single symbol that has got over 50% of the vote on the M.E.N then we're going to have to include every possible symbol you could vote for other than the stars!

That would end up being an extremely busy, cluttered badge. It just wouldn't work. We've seen countless designs trying to squeeze everything in on here, and they're all a bit cringy. They just don't work.

Unfortunately you can't please everyone. The results of the survey are clear, there is a consensus for a round badge with the traditional inner shield with the ship and 3 rivers.

Next most popular is the round badge, ship and rose.

And least popular of all is the eagle.
