What do we actually want?

I see the manic depressives are out in force AGAIN!
I'm sick of their bullshit on the pre-match threads now and won't go near reading a matchday one to listen to some fucking whopper call my team manager a **** and rate all our players as shit. If I want that I can go on red cafe.
I'm a City fan and behave accordingly. Some of these posters want fucking off because they aren't blues and or on here taking the piss.

You couldn't be more wrong Gordon.

The immediate post Aguero moment & the goodwill that flowed towards City as a club, team& supporters has been carelessly thrown away. It is unlikely to reappear in my lifetime.

We have lost out on a Cup Final win,at least one (some would say two) titles, one back to back opportunity, thrown away at least five cup ties & this season is now very finally balanced.

The Quad was never on but ,in my opinion, our Tactics,,strategy, selections, game management etc has undermined some of the players and could cost us the league. Winning the CLwas always a long shot, the FAC remains largely the luck of the draw & the C1C is 50/50.

I sincerely hope I'm wrong ......

Here here.
We win together and we lose together.
Saturday has gone, and in the words of slippy G "we go again" v Spurs this weekend.

I want that feeling back where I expect us to hammer someone every once in a while. It's been missing for about 12 months now.

Other than that, I want to see a cohesive team. I'm not bothered about players running all over the place at 100mph expressing their desire for the shirt, I just want to see a logical gameplan with the team set up cohesively.

What you going on about?

Peace on earth and goodwill to all. Isn't that what everybody wants?

if, we the supporters can make the effort to stump up shit loads of money to watch them play, all the hassle of getting there and back home, least they could do is put in a bit of effort for 90 minutes, dont expect us to win everygame, but do expect us to bust a gut in every game, not much to ask for imo

All I want is a team to be proud of; winning things is a bonus. At the minute I'm ashamed of this shambles. Far too often this season we've looked like the mercenary pre-madonnas that the press make us out to be.

Lose a game and all the Johnny come lately's come out of the woodwork. I started supporting city as a kid I remember from about 1975 when I was 7 years old. Tuert, Barnes, Doyle, Watson and Royle were my heroes around that time under Tony Book. We were good as well.
Following on from about 1981 we were shit for 30 years so what?
I have loved it all.
I can't stand all the posters on here match day thread is the worst for it who slate the manager and players as soon as we have a bad result.
We are fourth int the league with plenty of games left, we won it from 8 points behind with a lot less games left remember.
We are in champions league, FA Cup and the league cup final. Fuck me its awful!
Get a grip you glory hunting wankers. ya ya is shit, really? We didn't do much after he went off in fact we got worse!
Silva is finished? Really?
Leicester were brilliant but we still created a lot and could have scored a few. It was a great game to watch I enjoyed it aside from the result. So pathetic lots of people left when they got the third goal I hate you all! The glory hunters go and follow Utd. To be fair to a mate of mine who's a Utd fan he stopped going at the peak of their success because he hated the moaning going on around him when he was in the ground. He hated the glory hunters and he went through all their barren years.
We are like that now people calling Pellegrini a old useless ****! How disrespectful to a guy that has won a cup and the league.
How I wish these Johnny come lateley's would dissapear. I love where my club is going I don't love who is on the same journey.
We sing we lost last week and we lost today for a reason! A large majority could do with enlightening.
Yes everyone who isn't overly pleased by not winning back to back league games since October is a glory hunter.....

Short term, avoiding being chinned by The Spuds and Red Scousers would be most welcome and maybe inject a wee bit of confidence into our lads.

i want to win every game we ever play, that's always been my stance and every other city fan no doubt
its how we achieve it, and paying scant regard to your opposition isn't,

c'mon mate i've been on a similar journey and loving it all is simply not true, there has been many a dark day over that time and loving it isn't a term i would use, i won't ever turn away as like you its in the blood.
but you have to call it on the day it happens and not always hark back to the jamie pollocks of the world.
yaya and silva were poor by their standards and it may or may not be a concern going forward

No matter what, I expect the players to try their best but also for the manager to try his best too. I just don't accept that making the same mistakes over and over and really obvious ones at that is professionally acceptable from the manager. We lose against Leicester, generally I promise you I can take that but to see us get utterly destroyed and get the overwhelming feeling that it is because the players for whatever reasons (I am assuming there are many, I believe it is mainly down to poor management but I know many will disagree) seem slightly demotivated and the manager has used tactics that to the relatively untrained eye just looked like fucking suicide is just not even approaching acceptable. In short, I want the manager to at least look like he is trying to get the best out of what he has at his disposal and I want the players to work their balls off. If that still isn't good enough, so be it but at the moment it just looks like none of them are doing their jobs properly.

What I want is for City to win every game 6-0 but realistically I know that we wont and by the time it comes to match day I've usually taken all the factors into account such as the ability of the opposition, form and injuries into account and scaled down my expectations.

What's disappointing me at the moment is not the effort of the players, but that the manager keeps making a couple of selections that seem inexplicable.

I was quite sympathetic towards City after the Leicester game because I do think that the squad is much weakened by injury. We're basically down to Aguero and Hart out of our elite players, and a struggling Silva. Leicester actually had better players in Mahrez and Vardy.

A lot of City fans seem to think all we have to do is turn up, and if we dont win then either the players, or the manager must be shamed, but the injury list is long and real, and although the manager can't make excuses, I think it's a real problem. Our starting line up and bench is not that good. A couple of the players maybe big names, but they are 2nd rate now. I was a little surprised we lost 3-1 to Leicester but not shocked, and if Kompany or Mangala don't return against for Spurs, and we play Toure again, then I think we'll lose that as well.

I wish all these gloryhunting Johnny Come Latelys who weren't supporting City before the trophy wins in the 60's would fuck off & leave us proper fans free to call shit football, shit football.

If you think this is shit football then you haven't been supporting City for that long, seeya bud and leave us to it

The first team are too comfortable in there place in the team, play the youth to send a message.
I'd rather see the youth fail with a good effort than watch the first team lose cos they can't be arsed.
