CITY
06/04 PSG CL QF (A)
09/04 West Brom (H)
12/04 PSG CL QF (H)
16/04 Chelsea (A)
19/04 Newcastle (A)
24/04 Stoke (H)
01/05 Southampton (A)
07/05 Arsenal (H)
15/04 Swansea (A)

WBrom has to be 3 points.
Chelsea & Newcastle away are both going to be difficult, both sides desperate to make the best of the season's end. 3 points of 6 for City would be a good result.
Stoke & Southampton at home, assuming that both teams will be pretty much out of the race for Europe by then, should be 6 points.
Arsenal at home could be anything, so let's settle for a draw there.
Swansea away, assuming that they're save from relegation, should be 3 points as well.

So, City can get 16 points out of the last 7 matches imo. And that by any means should result in a top 4 finish.

1. Leicester
2. Arsenal
3. Spurs
4. City
5. Rags

And City will get past PSG in the CL but out in the semis if they meet Barcelona, Munich or Real Madrid there.

Herrera had one article appear four times on the homepage of the Telegraph listed under Top Football Stories, Champions League, Premier League and one other section, thankfully now reduced to just two and entitled '.
Ander Herrera goads Manchester City over race for Champions League spot

Also there are three separate articles about Rooney, Shaw and Jones and Young coming back from injury and each one mentioning the other players.

By way of contrast there is nothing about the only English team still left in the CL since the article about the Bournemouth match.

I reckon we will finish 2nd.
Also think spurs will capitulate and finish 5th

Not sure why you think that, best defense in the league,Kane, Dele Alli, Ericksen, Lloris, Walker, Dembele,Rose, Alderweild and probably best young coach in the league. Would be an injustice if they finish anything other than top 2. They'll be waiting in the wings for Leicester to slip up and besides they have a great run in.

One problem with your analysis is that I seem to remember going to the Ethiad to City play Southampton earlier in the season which means that we have to make the trip to their place. You may wish to knock 2/3 points off your total.

We should know a lot more by next Sunday. Spurs could either be done and dusted or right back in it depending on results.

You're right of course ... S'hampton is away ... Shouldn't make too much of a difference though. If Southampton are effectively out of contention for Europe by then, they may roll over more easily.

Four wins and a draw should now be enough .... Assuming United drop points in one game

Newcastle A
Stoke H
Swansea A

Should all be three points

So we need a win and a draw from this lot

Chelsea A
Arsenal H
Southampton A

I would imagine United will struggle in the last game at Upton Park , hopefully Leicester need a point when they go to old Trafford , Norwich may be scrapping for their lives , can't see United dropping points in any of their other games

If football was that easy we could have and should have beat the rags
