I found it a bit of a struggle.Yawn. Have you read it?

You reccomended I check it out? I thought to recommend a book you would have read it yourself? Or not, which is odd tbhNo, is that important or can I rely on others to summarize? Was he just misunderstood in your eyes?
Ask Boris. He said it apparently. I'm sure Hitler felt he was doing just that. However, some people (quite a lot as it turned out) thought otherwise.
When did I say he was a fan of Boris? I think you'll find the nearest I came to this was calling him a twat? Please quote me when I have said otherwise. He said it, but you agreed with it, hence why I am asking you as Boris's disciple

Not having that mate. You're just being a cock now.No, I did not suggest you read it, I think you are already dangerous enough without more fascist indoctrination. I said you should avail yourself of its contents
That is true of the thread I don't disagree, but for me it is what the decision really is a vote with little upside but a lot of risk. I accept that I probably have a lower opinion of how London and the south east will treat the rest of Britain, that I don't want a Britain that moves a lot to the right and that I have a bias in favour of the north and the celts , for them I see nearly no upside as a lot of downside.
As for sovereignty , even out Britain will not have economic, military, technology or any sovereignty in any real way and democracy will be no closer to the people than it is now. Would I risk economic turmoil for a false perception of independence? Never.
The remaniacs are a lot worse than the outers for bullshit scare tactics.
So you're quite happy to live under a sovereign and democratic system where results go against the wishes of the eu are ignored?
France referendum 2005 on ratification of the eu constitution - result IGNORED by the EU (Change your own constitution to fit ours)
Irish referendum 2008 on ratification of Lisbon treaty - result IGNORED by EU (try again silly Irish people)
Swiss referendum 2014 to curb inward eu migration - result IGNORED by EU (we're not bitter honest)
Greek referendum 2015 on bailout conditions - result IGNORED by EU (lump it and enjoy)
Dutch referendum 2016 on Ukraine-eu - result will be IGNORED by EU
I'm not sure what the system is in Australia but if it's like Switzerland democracy and referendum on matters are the cornerstone to the countries very being and you're looking at the most prosperous country in Europe -
Have to confess I was fast asleep during the whole thing so supporting no one, also I haven't heard either song! When I have watched Eurovision I have always just supported the song I liked best tbh, which is usually someone from Scandinavia or the baltics, as haven't heard a British or Irish song I really liked for a while.Ealing were you supporting the uk or Australia in the Eurovision Song Contest last night??
I had always found sovereign governments in London or Canberra just as capable of ignoring the will of the people and acting in self interest as any EU bureaucrat. I just judge decisions on whether I think they are good or bad and deal accordingly - I frankly don't care whether it is local council, national government or a larger federal organisation that makes them. Also if I am in one voice in 65m or one.voice in 300m really makes little differenceSo you're quite happy to live under a sovereign and democratic system where results go against the wishes of the eu are ignored?

Will somebody publish that clip Andrew Neil showed us on the daily politics show when Cameron back in November was saying how bad the European Union was. Cameron said more or less what the Brexiters are saying now. What a two faced lying git.
The one that won was bizarre. It even gave the new stone roses track a run for Its money and that's saying something.Have to confess I was fast asleep during the whole thing so supporting no one, also I haven't heard either song! Anyway eu does not matter today. Come on blues.
The EU paid just under €160 Million to Pro-Remain Groups. So when you hear any of these organisations supporting remain just remember that they are on the payroll. That is not including the 2 million paid to the British Broadcasting Corporation.

Instead of making an open declaration, the BBC’s successful lobbying for this money had to be prised out of it using a Freedom of Information (FoI) request lodged for The Spectator, proving that there was never any danger of the state broadcaster’s bosses volunteering it willingly.
That may well be true, but we have the opportunity every five years to get rid of the national government, whereas EU commissioners, who make the decisions, are not accountable to the population. I know we vote for MEPs however they have no legislative authority and are basically just a talking shop.I had always found sovereign governments in London or Canberra just as capable of ignoring the will of the people and acting in self interest as any EU bureaucrat.
