Would like to see Maffeo gradually replace Zabaleta as the season goes on. We get to keep Zaba's experience, don't expose ourselves if Sagna gets a big injury etc. And we get to gradually introduce Maffeo and really see him play proper games.

That would give us a much better idea of if we need to buy a RB next summer.

Very happy with this, no way is he done yet, injuries have belied the ability he still has. As good as another signing this is for me :-)

Thought he got a bit of his zip back yesterday and might be a good bet. Can't deny his commitment or his versatility which has been overlooked somewhat but might be on Pep's mind.
