It's a valid point, though:It's not a trial though.

It's a valid point, though:It's not a trial though.
Talksport had it on good authority that the verdict was imminent two years ago. You sure you're not watching an old video clip?Imagine having the arrogance (of the top brass at the premier league) to go public with the 115 charges (months after it happened), thinking that City would not dare to fight our case!
It's funny how everyone in the media and fans of all other clubs know so much about our punishment. today I have been told that we will get docked 40 point next season, but will be gifted the Champions League so we stay in it!
Apparently Peps trophies are tainted and will mean nothing. The dick head was proper raging when I pointed out that all charges relate to before Peps time.
Apparently we are obviously guilty because we are paying the premier league off.
TalkSport have it on good authority that the verdict is imminent. Simon Jordan and a football finance expert? (me neither) were using a lot of long words about what our owners should do next! That's the same Simon Jordan who lost his fortune by trying to run a football club giving Khaldoon advice on how what his next move should be.
City will know full well the verdict as will the premier league. I think both parties are currently trying to agree on a settlement figure that the PL need to pay City. If we had been found guilty there is no way that not a single person at the PL would not have leaked it!
Since the Premier league went public with the 115 charges, City have made only one statement saying we refute them and will fight them. The media hate the fact that we have kept a dignified silence, and they have not got a single 'insider' at City who will tell them anything!
The media know fuck all about our club, that's why they hate us, and are obsessed with calling Jack Grelish a £100m failure (despite him winning 7 trophies in 3 season).
it's amazing how many other team fans can hold such diametrically opposite "facts" as both being true. I'm sure there are many other examples.
I totally agree. It's just that a lot of people do think it's a trial, some even think it's a criminal trial. The fact that it isn't is important because different rules apply. It's a valid point, though:

I've seen posts that think it's the Football League, FIFA, UEFA and even HMRC.Apparently it’s the FA the know nowts would have you believe punishing City. Can you imagine them reading out the results of the charges like an FA Cup draw in the 90s. Graham Kelly looking all glum faced in Lancaster Gate holding the velvet bag with 115 balls in it.
It's 50% ownership splitI thought City had built it and leased out the naming rights?
I always assumed that was him trying to back into a corner in case they lost. It’s a very abnormal situation. I was directly involved in two very sensitive arbitration hearings. They were also very high profile. And all parties were kept in the loop on timescales all the way through. This is a slightly different sort of hearing but the PL should have set the parameters at the beginning. Masters commissioned the Judges but within days he was saying it’s all out of my hands now. He’s a fucking idiot.
They are having trouble deciding the legalese for “the charges are a load of wank thought up by the redshirts and the league.”That seems to be the perceived wisdom, but I am having trouble buying it. At least if it's just a question of potential subsequent sanctions: Firstly, we aren't going to get a sporting sanction, imho; Secondly, conventional wisdom is that the first stage is a liability judgment, so what is the point in delaying? (Of course, conventional wisdom has been wrong before); Thirdly, earlier panels have had no problem imposing sanctions (even sporting sanctions) mid-season.
Seems to me if the timing is being manipulated by the panel and the two parties it must be for a reason more important than just proving or not proving the allegations.
I didn’t see any photos of Khaldoon being there, so pleased he was. Khaldoon hardly gets a mention regarding City, obviously along with Sheikh Mansoor but Khaldoon is the man, isn’t he?I've absolutely no idea which way this overlong drawn out saga is going to conclude but I'll add this. As the head honcho in this shit storm and the one who's head is on the block, Kaldhoon looked very relaxed and happy and without a care in the world at the Co-Op arena last night.
The co-op was built by the development company and nowt to do with City. CFG later bought into the arena. The dev co was Oak View Group, a large operation in arenas and other sporting and entertainment venues.Does the Co-op Arena development suggest that MCFC are good partners ?
Also heard City own 50% of the Arena ?
Ive rarley ever used twatter only until the pep leaving rumours surfaced, It really is mental on it. Its like a lunatic asylum full of red shirts talking about city
Somebody will have to talk to the media because Peps no longer here to shield the directors.I didn’t see any photos of Khaldoon being there, so pleased he was. Khaldoon hardly gets a mention regarding City, obviously along with Sheikh Mansoor but Khaldoon is the man, isn’t he?
I very much doubt it was his decision
This is no way to conduct an investigation. When you consider what is at stake, the process should be timely otherwise it begins to erode in value.I totally agree. The documents would have been reviewed before and during the hearing. The panel are supposed to publish a verdict at the end of, or as soon as possible after the end of, the hearing. They won't still be sitting there ploughing through the evidence trying to make their minds up.The thing that surprises me is that it was announcedat the time that the judgement could take years because there are tens of thousands of pages of documentation to go through and consider, a lot of which will need to be cross-referenced. Yet now everybody seems surprised that's it's taking years.
I seem to remember that even the Everton case stretched to 8000 pages, although it was speeded up considerably by the fact that they pled guilty.

One thought occurred to me earlier. Stefan's assertion is that nothing has been communicated to the club, either formally or informally. If so, what's the club's reaction? Do they just sit there and meekly accept it'll come when it comes, without any communication with the PL or Murray Rosen? Or is there a constant to-and-fro between the parties, with City getting more and more agitated and demanding an outcome, or a timeline for one? Is Simon Cliff on the phone to Rosen every day?
