The sudden revelation that ibe is a better player is hilarious. Hopefully If he does do well, hopefully it would also stop the City ruin english players rubbish. Of course we have to sign him first..
I thought we would keeep him for another season, think he would be better next season. But i can see the advantages of swapping fernando for delph. We would still be told in the media that we are ruining english football though...
But people complain about the press portraying us as ruining english players careers and then people want us to buy a england international just for the bench, just in case we have hypothetical injuries in a key game.
I don't think anyone knows whether he will make it at senior level, hes struggled to get into a terrible Fulham team. But I do know that we will be blamed for ruining English talent if he doesn't, especially if he costs 10 million. But it could save us later on rather than overpaying for English...
Ah sorry.
He was alright but faded in the second half, felt that his passing was to safe and not creative. Rather have schneiderlin, home grown, prem proven and younger, if we want a fernando like player.
Let's not big him up for no reason, he has done basically nothing, I don't think he made a clearance, tackle or interception. He's a good player but let's not over hype him.
It will only be worth it if he turns out to be good. We don't want a torres. He better expect to get stick from every Liverpool pundit in the media whenever he misplaces a pass. They will be drooling at the chance to brag about how he made the wrong choice and isn't any good anyway.
It is so difficult to know whether a youngster will become a good player or not. Everyone should go look at the teams that have won the fa youth trophy, then try and pick out the ones that have become premiership players. Very Few.
Just look at the bbc article on kane and his loan stats...
