Re: get augero But people class West Ham and Blackburn as mid-table teams, and we're evidently not at their level. The amount of talent in our team is capable of challenging the Everton's for 5th/6th spot.

Re: get augero But he has Ireland doing that at the moment. Just look back at that Ireland goal vs. Hamburg after 1 minute. We don't really need a player who's unproven to our league coming in when we have a suitable player already who can do those dashing runs. I can see what you mean though mate

Re: get augero We're not a mid-table team anymore, our signings over the last year, apart from Ben-Haim, have been of top 6-7 standard, apart from Robinho, who was just out of the blue. I think we're doing that by bringing in the young stars around the world like Jeremy Helan, Juan Angel Roman...

Re: get augero my thoughts exactly. he's 5"8, so he's hardly a target man. Eto'o and Aguero are two totally different players, and one we don't really need as we have Robinho, Bojinov and Bellamy to fill the gap behind the striker. Yes, Aguero is a lot better than Bojinov and Bellamy, but...

Yeah whats wrong with him fitting into a midfield of De Jong Barry Elano Ireland Robbie with RSC upfront. Swap Elano & Robbie for SWP/Petrov and Tevez for away games and there we go, problem sorted.
