    not anymore

My cousins auntie used to work on them for her husband (he had a fleet of them). Used to go to the match with my old fella and we used to bump into her on the way to the ground sometimes. Even if us kids were starving she wouldn't give us any as they were bobbins !

    Bojinov not returning

Good luck to him in the future. Better luck at City may have seen him realise his true potential that was undoubtedly there.

The gloryhunters are starting to arrive...

Agree we should not be adopting a holier than thou attitude to new fans. Yes there are diehards who've been through thick and thin (and some more thin for good measure) but the club need to becomme self sufficient. I'm sure the rumblings from the new owners regarding increasing capacity would...

    TalkShite

Exactly. When they are spouting off about City, just ignore it. They always do a good guy/bad guy routine regarding the topcic of the day so at least one of them will wind you up. It's a great listen though when they wind up Utd/Liverpool fans - someone always takes the bait, just don't fall for...

Should we be worried about Nigel?

Can see City trying to mount a challenge on all fronts next season. If not in the starting XI, De Jong will certainly be an asset in european away games, niggly premiership games and domestic cup games, so will certainly get some match time. After his shoeing in SA 2010 we'd be mad to let him go...

    Boateng

One of my red mates agreed today that Boateng looked accomplished today. I like the fact he appears to be comfortable anywhere along the back - definitely an asset

Eastlands and the surrounding area today.

I work in purchasing for a company based in Preston and I was speaking to a supplier last week. He had just been into Manchester to see a client re the supply of non-slip decking for around the city store. He didn't know i was a city fan, and he's a boro fan, so he's not likely to be...

    And then there were two........

As much as i don't like Spuds, if they do pip us to 4th place then fair play to them. My main oncern was that ANYONE got 4th instead of Liverpool. Will start to see the brak up of the so called top 4. Will it become a top 7 now, as that's where Liverpool are likely to finish. Bring on Wednesday...

    Bradford disaster.

I know this sounds dumb, but by only kust seeing that memorial has it hit home generations of families perished. I remeber it clearly and thought it was awful at the time, but seems worse now that i'm a father myself and take my two young 'uns to the games. RIP to all concerned.

    Just Imagine...

As long as we at least match whatever result Spuds get against the rags then we have a chance. Villa on paper is tough, but by then they may be out of it with hopefully Birmingham doing us a favour in their derby. What's the betting City do the biz against Arsenal, Villa and Spuds and then fall...

Personnel Message from CFL ref Ticker Tape event.

Top effort and ongrats all round for all involved. We're sat North Stand lower and look great from there. If we are still in with a shout come the Spuds game then go for it. The plod were obviously worried full stop about anything being thrown at a derby, but sod 'em.

    real mallorca..la liga

On a stag do next week. Stag is a big Messi fan so options were go to Barcelona for a home game, or go somewhere cheaper and a bit livlier. Result was Magaluf when Mallorca host Brcelona. Only snag is tickets start at 70 euros - not sure it's quite worth that ?

training report from DH on other forum....

Would have liked Viera to get a run out on Sunday. Wouldn't be comfortable throwing him in for the derby.

UEFA confirm their bid to stop City and keep Utd succesful

UEFA'S plan is fundamentally flawed, in that currently, the majority of "glamour" clubs will have some sort of financial liabilities. This would bring those affected by the rules together and press on with plans for a breakaway european super league (which i am totally against). That would leave...
