Richard Edghill Autobiography 'Once A Blue Aways A Blue'

Yep I'll be all over this as well and I'm looking forward to reading it. Talking of mistakes anyone unfortunate to have the original copy of The Young Guvnors can tell you all about mistakes as it's literally unreadable due to a mess up with the printers overseas. I don't think a few wayward...

    Pellegrini Pre-Match Press Conference

He does also mention they are having individual pre seasons to the others if you listen carefully. I'm not worried I'm sure they'll be ready for St James mate.

How many of these historical games were you at?

Most of the above and a few not mentioned such as relegation at Stoke etc. The Dean Saunders penalty miss for Derby made me smile though as I was at all three games when Saunders missed penalties against City.

The 25 most defining games in our history

Not seen it mentioned yet and it was before my time but I suspect the 3-1 win at Old Trafford in 1968 was pretty defining as well.

Richard Edghill Autobiography 'Once A Blue Aways A Blue'

I shouldn't have thought he'd have been oblivious to the 'two nil up and fucked it up' chants though Phil. He's obviously as you state been told about what went on I agree. Another memory from that game was the Rags unveiling a Hereford Reds MUFC banner before the game to wave at us all and I...

    Lampard To City On Loan

I have two good friends who are both season ticket holders at Stamford Bridge and have been for years. One of them told me he couldn't believe Lampard had been released and Drogba had been brought back and agreed it was a good short term signing for City. By all accounts the majority of them...

    Happy Birthday Sir Joe

I was 15 back in 1990 when Joe passed away and I can still remember how upset my Dad looked when I broke the news to him as he returned from work. You don't see many interviews with Joe from the past but the ones you do show's what a great fella he must have been. I love the one on the touchline...

    Pellegrini Pre-Match Press Conference

Just watched this in full for the first time. Just love the way he calmly and effectively answers each question whilst giving nothing away. After the Mancini hysterics with the press at times this 'cool' approach is simply brilliant. He won't be drawn into anything he doesn't wish to discuss...

Etihad Campus, Stadium and Collar Site Development Thread

Re: Etihad Campus, Stadium Development and Collar Site (cont So I assume once the South Stand is rebuilt we will have two at that end as well? As fantastic as they are, do we really need four big screens?

    not seen this video before

Thought I'd seen most of the videos around that celebrated the first title success but I hadn't seen this. Thanks for posting. Great stuff.

Richard Edghill Autobiography 'Once A Blue Aways A Blue'

That's not nonsense, that is a fact! In the divide amongst the Kippax during the 2-3 home defeat this happened along with empty wrappers being waved. I was stood just below crazy corner for this game and remember it very well.

    Food and Beverage Survey.

As someone who hasn't had food or drink at the ground for a long time some of these comments are puzzling me regarding the quality of the food? what happened to the supposed ramping up in quality from firstly Marco Pierre White and then Jamie Oliver?

    Worldies against City

That goal wasn't in the 6-0 defeat at the Baseball Ground. It was in the same match played the following season. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e4FRnNCRQdM

    First game disappointments

That game finished 2-2 and yes it was Portsmouth. It was also the home debut of the Kappa kit.

    Worldies against City

Two goals against City I've not seen mentioned on here was Leslies in the 5-1. Whatever you think of him (and them) it was a great goal. Also Kevin Sheedy at Goodison circa 1990.

It was pretty obvious in some of the latter videos she was heavily pregnant, so congratulations to her.

Liverpool stories needed for 25/8 programme

Remember that very, very well. Owen had just scored three in a 0-3 loss. City lads went mental that day. Around the same time we played Crewe in the League Cup and a dipper pal of mine came to the game. He admitted once we got back to the car he was absolutely terrified walking through Moss Side...

    Lampard To City On Loan

I have two Chelsea fans who are good mates, both season ticket holders and they are deeply unhappy about this as I've been speaking with both. They can't believe they let Lampard go and brought Drogba back. And now it looks at though City are getting Lampard for six months they are furious. Both...
