    Blue Tuesday on GMR

Maybe if more people in Rochdale followed the local team instead of heading to Old Trafford, Anfield and dare I even admit the Etihad you wouldn't struggle as much as you do. Food for thought perhaps.

    Blue Tuesday on GMR

Funny that times have changed eh? I remember when we played you in a pre season friendly at Spotland around 10 years ago all your programme notes could cream on about was how it was a pleasure to be playing a genuinely 'big club' (City) as opposed to one that wasn't (Burnley). I had a genuine...

Are we getting more popular at home?

Even here in Whalley Range I have seen the numbers of kids wearing blue increase dramatically in the last three years. When I first moved here in 2010 it was mostly adults displaying City colours and the odd kid in a Rag or Chelsea shirt. Not the case now though and it's fantastic to see.

What is stopping us being one of the best in Europe?

In the Premiership but not in Europe. Zabba and Kompany aside we don't have world class defenders.

A must read. Where do I order my copy please?

All that land at the front of the picture is now what's currently being developed.

    what the everton fans say

The ideal situation for the Rags is if Chelsea can win it but given the choice all the ones I know would rather City win it than Liverpool. A situation that highly amuses me and they admit they hate. As other's have said they have seen City win it now so could cope with it more than it going to...

    The Maine Place

As far as I'm aware non of the roads are painted Sky Blue although one is named Bluemoon Way.

Yeah the original developers went 'under' by all accounts. It's certainly taken a while for someone else to continue the project.

    The Maine Place

A lot of houses and flats were built on the land a good few years ago but then a large area of the land remained undeveloped as well. Until now.

    The Maine Place

Took a visit back to our former ground today and was really pleasantly surprised to see it looks as though the jobs finally getting finished, as the barren land that has stood undeveloped for years is now finally having houses and flats built on it. Didn't get any pictures before anyone says it...

    The 2000-01 season

He did indeed I remember it well. I'm sure this was the game when Craig Bellamy ran him ragged as well. Two fellas sat infront of me on the Kippax came to blow's over Edghill that afternoon.

    The 2000-01 season

Yes it was up at the Riverside. Other low lights from a horrible season included poor performances by Nicky Weaver (as by this point his social activities were starting to drastically influence his game), the horrible bakerlight effect away kit, dreadful football, Joe Royle's almost endless...

    Forget the doom and gloom.

Time for some perspective. A lot of upset Manchester City fans around at the minute it would seem. Cast back to 1998 a once proud club that had achieved some milestones in football found itself playing in the third tier of English Football for the first time ever (I know as I was there). It...

Ian Curtis: An Unlikely Manchester City Supporter

I'm pretty sure the old City magazine that stopped being sold in the shops a few years ago did a feature on Curtis where either his widow or daughter (can't recall which?) said he was a Blue.

    Job Going At City - ''Trainee Memberships Executive''{merge}

This whole thing doesn't sit well with me at all. It's almost American in it's cheese factor. The majority on here are going to vote for a lad with a local accent which is completely understandable. As it happens if I do vote he will also be my choice, not because of his accent but he just seems...

GMP Photos from the derby - 21 Feb 1981

Great pictures but I don't recall the steps at the back of the Kippax being like that? I'm assuming this was the away section. Picture 5.

    Best Kebabs in Manchester?

It's good, very good infact but you just don't get very much of it and it's bloody pricey as well.
