Its the same game with the NHS. They spend billions on consultants that know fuck all about health care only to be told what any working Dr of nurse could have told them in the first place.

Corruption and back handers was't invented by the Tories, you'd think it was with the white noise doing the rounds.
Is it wrong? Of course it is but it's endemic whatever government is in power and generally that applies to any other nation too.
We’ve not had any other government that have implemented laws to allow them to circumvent the usual tender process to be fair.
To think this is just the way it is is just wrong and very dangerous.
Spend is one thing, where the money comes from is another - my contract was often only renewed once they'd got external funding in place. That funding could come from various places so looking at the cost of consultancy is only part of the picture.

Every government was and is at it, it's a syptom of politics today and to dent that it has gone on for decades is dangerous and wrong.
